well, as a few of you may know ... i live in frankfurt

it's famous for its skyline and the skyscrapers and yesterday night there was this show ...

there were films projected onto those skyscrapers and buildings. it was amazing. i don't know how they did that. perhaps with lasers and all that. it was a huge project and cost about 7 million € ... :stunned:

´however ... the first film was about football (yes, people are going crazy because of the world cup) ... it was about HOPE, JOY, SADNESS and all those virtues ...

and the second one was about this world ... and war and kids and hope and how we could change the world.

it was amazing to stand there and watch those films ... the repeat it this night and tomorrow night ...

dunno why i actually made a thread but ... i just wanted to let you know :)

That sounds cool Grace!:)

I mean I can imagine this feeling watching these films....standing ther eoutside (was it outside?) in the weather which is getting better and better....

I even felt this when I saw Rock am Ring on TV some hours ago and saw the setting sun in the background...over the hills exactly where I live!:sunny:

yeah ROCK AM RING was amazing ... especially Franz Ferdinand ;)

mhhhml, and there was also music. it was just weird that you could hear the music so well.

the second film was so ... strange....there were kids' voices everywhere and laughter and people crying ...

and it was at night ... which made it even cooler ;).

Yeah....Franz ferdinand were great!:D

Did you see Placebo? And the sunset?BEAUTIFUL.....so beautiful that I was near tears....oops!Hehhe,,...

Oh...so it was a film with contrasts I guess?

nope, i didn't see placebo ... but the Kaiser Chiefs. too bad they showed only half of their gig :(

it was a pretty strange and scary film. very artistic i guess and touching.

you've gotta come here and watch those films ... they'll show them again tomorrow :D

hehhe....I really would like to come....but Frankfurt is too far away...ok not that far:lol:

But far enough....

ah.....didn't see Kaiser chiefs....there are only Depeche Mode on TV in the background now....but I turned off the volume because I'm listening to music at the PC!

not a big fan of depeche mode ... +_+

too bad they didn't show the concerts of the Babyshambles, Goldfrapp and Tool :( :( :(

Oh...well I also dn't like Depeche Mode...but I thought that I should turn it on...just for watching if they have a good light show and stuff....

Hehhe....well I think Tool had their performance on friday right?

I went outside because I heard this heavy bass outside...I think it was tool's bass....yeah they were loud!Wow....

I saw Goldfrapp at the Coldplay concert in Oberhausen I didn't reallylike them

i love tool ... :) they're fantastic.

goldfrapp is pretty cool too ... mhh ... it's not that i admire them. think it's just nice to listen to

Hehhe........the singer's voice was soooo high.....almost too high...one reason I didn't like them....

the funniest were the band members......one looked like Jesus!

he he ... jesus ... well, nowadays a lot of people look like jesus :)

long-haired guys seem to be in :dozey:

Well....actually he was dressed like Jesus....and the hair cut made him just perfectly looking like him...hehe...
