OLGA AND NEIL

Popping the question: Olga said 'yes' on the helipad of Dubai's seven-star Burj Al Arab hotel. Neil gave her a Graff diamond ring as a violinist played in the background.

The happy day: At Lanzerac Manor and Winery in South Africa. Activities beforehand will include paragliding, flying fighter jets, shark diving and a safari.

Love at first sight? They met on the 'Cape Town club circuit'.

He says: 'Olga's an amazingly talented musician, with a degree in economics and a sense of kindness that is immediately obvious. Popping the question: Dotun staged a fake inspection at the school where Diwura works. She was summoned to the head teacher's office where Dotun was waiting to present her with a ring.

The happy day: A beach and pool party in Florida.

Love at first sight? They studied together in Washington DC. Dotun used to get to lessons early so he could 'watch beautiful Diwura walk through the class door looking very quiet and humble'.

He says: 'Her birth [was] identical to the sun coming out of the clouds to warm the Earth... From the first day I met Dee she has shown me the true colour of love that is kind [and] gentle. I will trade nothing in this world to be with her.'

The happy day: On the small Greek island of Dokos. The celebrations will include an all-night beach party.

Honeymoon: Kenya.

Love at first sight? Lisa and Chris met through work. He broke a radiator and she threw up on his new shoes. Well, it certainly takes some beating.

Love at first sight? At Hastings Borough Council. Rebecca is a licensing officer and Paul works in the 'neighbourhood renewal' department.

Honeymoon: Fourteen nights on Komandoo Island in the Maldives – 'small enough for that Robinson Crusoe feel, but with that all-important spa'.

Love at first sight? 'We met in a pub one Sunday afternoon. Boring, but a good excuse to celebrate our “anniversary” over a pub lunch every Sunday.'

She says: 'Nick is personally responsible for the trimming of the wedding invitations. That is because he was also personally responsible for buying the wrong-sized envelopes.'

He says: 'Poppy is currently a bubble of excitement that is about to burst.'
