First there was the Wembley opener, in which Gordon Brown's unlucky charm may have helped Germany score a win over England on August 22... yet Gordon grins and bears it So it's no wonder he has given up the ghost and decided he's just too unlucky to see England play Croatia at Wembley tomorrow night in the crucial Euro 2008 qualifying match. His first jinxed match was when he saw England lose 2-1 to Germany at the Wembley stadium opener on August 22. To even the political score, Tory leader David Cameron has also been urged to give it a miss after attending other England failures. England must score at least a draw against Croatia at Wembley tomorrow in order to qualify for the Euro 2008 finals next year. The qualifying rounds have proved painful for the national side, with England suffering a painful defeat in Moscow, 2-1. Steve McClaren and his men had a difficult wait to see if Israel would beat Russia in order to give England a chance at qualifying for next year's matches.
