Coldplay:Top 10 most digitally downloaded in Australia

Featured Replies

Coldplay have recently taken the 7th place in the top 10 most digitally downloaded artists in Australia.

Their award-winning-grammy-grabbing-multi-plantinum-boom-bang 2002 album (:P) A Rush Of Blood to the head has taken 2nd place as the most digitally downloaded album in Australia, right behind the Ministry of Sound Album 2008.

Ministry of Sound also took out the No.1 most digitally downloaded artist. The hit 60s band The Beatles took second place (it appears the parents of generation X and generation Y are catching on with the 'internet') followed the American band Red Hot Chilli Peppers and U2. Others on the list were Linkin Park, Metellica and the Aussie band AC/DC

dsfoihjsdf.jpg- Coldplay have proven they can handle the test of time with A Rush Of Blood to the Head taking out the 2nd most digitally downloaded album.

Pink's album No.1 best selling album for two years straight I'm not dead took out 8th place. 'Non suprises' such as Justin Timberlake and Timberland as well as Guns N' Roses all took places in the top 10 most digitally downloaded albums. And lastly, Muse with their fourth album Black Holes and Revealations is at tenth place.

In other countries, The Beatles have proved they probably did rule the music world taking out No.1 most digitally downloaded artist in the US and the UK! In New Zealand, it appears that the best of Guns N' Roses is a favourite.

But I can't say I haven't contributed to Coldplay's 2nd place on the most digitally downloaded album chart. :laugh3:
