New songs that sound like they could be on the other albums

Featured Replies

Ok, here's just something fun to do. Or not. I'm not saying any of these songs sound like they could belong on the other 3 albums, they are all unique in there own way. I'm just bored and have nothing else to do. So what do you guys think each song could belong on another album? Name each one of course.

Life in Technicolor - Definitely could have been on X&Y. Even the title would've fit well with it. I could just see this being on that album.

Cemeteries of London - This is a hard one. It couldn't really fit on any of the other albums. But, if I had to choose then I guess it would be AROBTTH, since it's Piano driven.

Lost! - In my opinion, a mix of AROBTTH and X&Y. Chorus reminds me of something on both albums.

42 - Mostly X&Y, although a touch of AROBTTH mixed in.

Lovers in Japan - X&Y. Sounds like A Message/'Til Kingdom Come. But better.

Reign of Love - AROBTTH/X&Y. Again.

Yes - Mostly AROBTTH. But, still it's nothing like they've ever done before.

Chinese Sleep Chant - Sounds like a AROBTTH b-side. ME LIKE.

Viva la Vida - X&Y.

Violet Hill - AROBTTH. God I hate typing that out.

Strawberry Swing - I don't think I can categorize this song. It sounds like nothing they've ever done before. It's awesome.

Death and All His Friends - Parachutes/AROBTTH combination. Reminds me of Trouble/Amsterdam. The ending sounds like something off AROBTTH.

The Escapist - X&Y. See Life in Technicolor.

Wow, that sucked. What a crappy thread. :D

Sorry guys.

nah its:) kinda interesting im just lazy right now to write all that haha

i only heard a few leaks.....saving the rest for later :smug:

but anyway:

Life in Technicolor - X&Y...the 'U2'-esque sound screams in this song like when the comparisons began to really brew with X&Y.

42 - if i were to chop the song into two, the first half belongs to AROBTTH and the second half to X&Y. but as a whole....i think i'm going to go with X&Y.

Lovers in Japan - X&Y, no doubt.

Yes - it's very split here! AROBTTH, cause it's similar to the chords in "Daylight" and the sounds of "A Rush of Blood To The Head." as for X&Y...it goes back to "Twisted Logic" with that so-called 'angry' sound and accents/attacks on the beats.

Viva la Vida - i'm gonna say X&Y, because it's upbeat.

Violet Hill - X&Y, since both are 'rockier' sounds

Strawberry Swing - ....mmm i'm gonna say AROBTTH. it reminds me of "A Whisper"

42 - X&Y/AROBTTH

Cemeteries of London - X&Y with a hint of AROBTTH

Lost! - None of them! The accoustic could easily be the ballad song on AROBTTH but not the album version.

LiT - With the title it could EASILY be an X&Y. But it's more of an AROBTTH song for me.

Violet Hill - AROBTTH

Viva La Vida - X&Y with a hint of AROBTTH

They're the ones I've listened to so far :dozey: thanks my internet connection, thanks.
