TyM218
What guitar effects does Buckland use in Lovers in Japan? I've been trying to figure it out for a while, then I found this place. Here I'm sure to find my answer, after seeing all the other helpful threads. P.S. if theres already a topic about this, sorry I didn't search in advance! bearcat1229
A long sustain and release time, probably accomplished by expensive rack gear. Delay could also be used to get something close...

fakfak
He's also using something that creates a Leslie (rotating speaker) effect for large parts of the song. I believe this is accomplished with his Eventide processor in his rack set up. He's also tremolo picking, which he does in a lot of his parts.
