it has been over a decade since i have been on these forums (12 years to be exact)

 

thought i would jump back on now that Famous Old Painters is becoming a thing again ...

it almost made me cry hearing those vocals on the leaked demo !!! never thought i would hear that

 

anyways, i am the original "painter" of the Famous Old Painters cover art from 2011, which is used as

the unofficial official cover art across the internet - you can find proof of that >>> here <<< where

i posted it on this exact website back in 2012 along with several other VIVA-era cover arts i painted !!!

this is the result of sheer inspiration after discovering Coldplay when i was 12 (2008) and listening to their discography / unreleased tracks on repeat for 3 years straight - i first came across Famous Old Painters in 2011 and immediately tasked myself with emulating the VIVA style for it -- mostly just to compliment the song on my iPod nano lol -- i have adored the song ever since -- it truly warms my heart knowing that a painting i did when i was 15 has been adopted as the primary cover art for the past decade
