Hello, is there anyone who got this song in high quality? I would be very grateful for a file or link!

https://youtu.be/Xrd5Y05V-eQ?si=7OgKJfmeaXtoiGq1 At the end of this video the band start playing this unknown song. Unfortunately the person didn't record the whole thing so we probably won't ever know what the rest of the song will sound like, but does anyone know anything at all about the song? A name even?

  3. hey all !!! i hope you are doing well it has been over a decade since i have been on these forums (12 years to be exact) thought i would jump back on now that Famous Old Painters is becoming a thing again ... it almost made me cry hearing those vocals on the leaked demo !!! never thought i would hear that anyways, i am the original "painter" of the Famous Old Painters cover art from 2011, which is used as the unofficial official cover art across the internet - you can find proof of that >>> here <<< where i posted it on this exact website back in 2012 along with several other VIVA-era cover arts i painted !!! …

The only place I can find this lovely version is a 14-year-old upload on YouTube. Was it ever put on a CD release? Is there a download somewhere? There used to be one on here but I can't find it.

Hey there! Does anyone know something about "Mining on the Moon", the unreleased track from around 2006? I've recently come across a snippet of it on a Chinese website and it seems it was a kind of accordion-driven song (which would be lovely!), but I can't find anything else about it. I can't even find the source of the snippet which seems to be a radio interview with Chris...

So one of the lost songs "The man who swears" from VLV will be on MOTS, alias People Of The Pride. We also got Guns and Arabesque with EL, Aliens during AHFOD era... many dark songs that were not used for VLV album and kept secret for a while I'm wondering what it would have given at that time, if they used all the rock/dark or war/death-related songs in one album... Something like this... DEATH AND ALL HIS FRIENDS Violet Hill Arabesque Cemeteries Of London 42 Yes / Chinese Sleep Chant Guns Prospekt's march / Poppyfields People Of The Pride (The Man Who Swears) Lhuna ALIENS Death And All His …

  7. My memory is a bit fuzzy however I believe during Coldplay's Viva La Vida tour at some venues they handed out a free CD to concert goers. Unfortunately though I went to one of the shows during the Viva tour... I wasn't one who got it because Coldplay did this like after a few stops and the venue I attended, that idea wasn't yet formed. Anyway after reading up on it in 2011 or so I bought a used CD copy for $50 online like on Ebay. I felt it was worth the steep cost because of the scarcity factor and the fact it was only available to select attendees etc. It was never sold on the Coldplay store. I also read reviews and it was very positive so the Cold…

  8. Unsure where to post this topic however I hope it's the correct area. After Coldplay Tweeted out this message (see below): It seems like a done deal this updated version of Viva La Vida music-video with a batch of selected fans, will be released sometime this year. Folks are theorizing that it'll be released during Coldplay's appearance at the upcoming Glastonbury Festival ‘Live At Worthy Farm’ livestream. I don't have any proof of that however. Least I can hope after the Glastonbury event is over, they'll (Coldplay) release the Viva La Vida music video on their YouTube channel. Did anyone here submit an singing "Woah-oh-ohs" video …

Viva La Vida was released on 12 June 2008. Who can believe it's been a decade? And still for me Coldplay's peak. The most complete, varied and skilful piece of work they've done. And it flows perfectly from the intro and build in LIT to the soft closing sequence of The Escapist. Happy tenth birthday!

Here's a clip I uploaded to reddit of footage from the Barcelona show in 2009 that was recorded and was supposed to be released as the live DVD for the era in addition to the CD we got. I guess this video is what ever remained of the edit after they scrapped it. The video is sourced from the original production company that filmed the show.

  13. Coldplay has turned in another great effort with its 4th album, the apply-titled "Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends," named after the hit song of the same name. However, they have been experimenting with a new and sound this time. As for most of the tracks on Viva, they have new and colorful music videos. These songs have been kept in our hearts for all these years and will never be forgotten. 1. Life in Technicolor: With a mysterious, yet highly digital intro, the instrumental "Life In Technicolor" opens the album on a high note with sweeping Middle-Eastern santoor loop, and bouncy, steady beats that gradually pick up in volume, texture and excitement. Th…

Firstly, sorry if there's already a thread or section like this. I couldn't find one. I think there are some really underrated songs from this era, and I think they deserve discussion too :D For example, Bucket for a Crown The Dubliners The Goldrush Death Will Never Conquer Mining on the Moon The Fall of Man Bloodless Revolution First Steps The Man Who Swears Loveless Spanish Rain / Don Quixote And there are more. I personally love what I've heard of these. I really hope at some point these are released in some form, however unlikely that is. What do you think?

  15. Hey everyone - The Viva La Vida tour was the first I experienced as a Coldplay fan, and it was amazing! Has there ever been an official concert video / DVD release of any shows on this tour? I know some are available on the bootleg circuit, just wanted to see if I missed anything, because that tour was incredible and I'm hoping the band has some sort of live documentation of it. Thanks in advance! :D
