Gwyneth Paltrow's Apple A Wiggles Fan

gwyneth5a.jpgApple Martin's father is the lead singer of British band Coldplay, but it appears she would much rather watch The Wiggles.

Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed the couple's 22-month-old daughter has very picky taste when it comes to TV, but she loves watching the four hyperactive, colour-coded Aussies on the tube.

"She doesn't watch television," Paltrow told AAP in an interview. "Although recently we were on holiday and it was raining a lot so we rented The Wiggles. We have one Wiggles that we ended up buying so we watch that when she asks for it. She asks for it about once every week."

Paltrow and her Coldplay frontman Chris Martin will likely add another Wiggles fan soon with the birth of her second child due in May.The Wiggles appear to own the market when it comes to the kids of the famous, with Sarah Jessica Parker's son James Wilke, Kate Hudson's son Ryder and Jerry Seinfeld's young ones among their junior A-List fans.

Paltrow continues to juggle her Hollywood career with motherhood.

Australians will see her next in her Golden Globe-nominated performance in the drama Proof, opposite Anthony Hopkins and Jake Gyllenhaal.

The 33-year-old plays the daughter of a brilliant, but mentally ill mathematician (Hopkins).

Paltrow's character is also a gifted mathematician, although she says that is definitely not the case in her own life.

"Was I good at mathematics?" Paltrow asks.

    "No, terrible. Really terrible.

"And science. Not good at all.

"I just don't have the brain for it."

Proof opens in Australian theatres on Thursday (March 16).
