Coldplay collected their second award of the year today, as the band were announced as winners of the 'Best Rock' act at the MTV EMA Award's. The award was voted for by fans, so we can all give ourselves a pat on the back (if you voted!). The award ceremony was held in Milan this year and streamed in 360-degree virtual reality for the first time!
Their first award win of the year was for 'Ghost Stories', which won 'Best Rock Album' at the Billboard Awards. That occasion was the first time Coldplay hadn't gone home empty handed in a few years. With seventh album, 'A Head Full Of Dreams' on the way soon, Chris, Jonny, Will and Guy could be adding further to their awards cabinet.
