Gwyneth Not Happy With Chris's Long Hours

Chris Martin is reportedly in trouble with wife Gwyneth Paltrow for spending 18 hours a day in the studio working on the new Coldplay album.

The band's frontman is nervous over how their third studio album will be received and wants it to live up to expectations reports The Sun. So he has been returning to the family home in North London only to grab a much-needed kip. As a result he has been getting rollickings from actress Gwyneth for not spending enough time at home.

Chris has also been clocking up thousands of airmiles, recording in various studios around the world to fine-tune his masterpiece. As Coldplay's major songwriter, he has been piling the pressure on himself and working much longer hours than his bandmates Guy Berryman, Will Champion and Jonny Buckland.

He now hopes to have the album done and dusted before Christmas, ready for release early next year. He is determined it will be just as huge as Coldplay's last album, A Rush Of Blood To The Head, which stormed to No1 in September 2002.

A source said: "He is getting very stressed and Gwyneth was worried that he was at risk of burning out. She told him he should slow down a bit."
