The clearest indication yet that Coldplay will be performing a duet with Jay-Z at Sunday's Grammy Awards has come courtesy of arjanwrites music blog. Today, Radiohead (with USC marchind band), Coldplay (with Jay-Z) and U2 are rehearsing. U2 will open the show tomorrow with their new single. On Tuesday September 9th, Coldplay are due to perform live on French TV, on the talk show Le Grand Journal, found on the channel Canal+, according to schedules found on Clap Production. The TV show is live from 7pm (French time) to 8:50pm, and usually live acts are on at around 8pm. Coldplay will be appearing on German TV show Wetten Dass..? this coming Saturday night (24th Jan) on TV channels ZDF, ORF2 and SF1. Coldplay, The Hold Steady and Glen Campbell play on October 7, while Elbow join David Gilmour on September 23. October 14 stars Kaiser Chiefs, Seasick Steve, The Streets and TV On The Radio, with Friendly Fires on October 21. The series starts on September 16 with Kings Of Leon, Metallica and Fireman. Coldplay will join US rock act Kings of Leon to major bushfire benefit concerts in Melbourne and Sydney, which will be staged simultaneously at the MCG and the SCG on Saturday March 14th. It has been reported in today’s Sun that the band are shunning large venues in favour of smaller university venues with capacities of only 1,000 people.
