    Q. Hello oracle, I just happened to see the ETIAW video on a French TV music channel and the composing was credited to "Berryman" ... I thought it was a strange way to put it, without the first name ! And was it only written by Guy ?? Thank you :)

    The Oracle replies:

Song credits are usually listen by surname in alphabetical order (or full name in surname alphabetical order) which means Guy would be the first writer to be credited followed by Jonny, Will & Chris. I'm not sure why they only listed Guy but assume it's because he is first in the credit roll but it should actually read Berryman, Buckland, Champion, Martin.

    Q. What is Coldplay deciding to do in regards to a live setting for their duet songs (Lhuna and Princess Of China)? I understand that they are waiting to play Princess of China until Rhianna's voice can be heard on it, but does this mean that they'll only ever play it if Rhianna is on the stage with them? These are two of my favorite Coldplay songs ever, so I am wondering if we (the fans) are going to get to hear either of these songs played live regularly, if at all? Cheers from Australia!

    The Oracle replies:

Lhuna is not likely to be played live now. It wasn't actually on a Coldplay release and don't think it ever has been performed live. PoC may get an airing again once the album is out. Chris has shown he can tackle both vocal parts live so there's no reason not to. I'm hoping it makes an appearance again after 24th October as I personally loved listening to that played live at the start of the festival dates.

    Q. Coldplay in Cape Town was just beyond amazing! Thank you! A question for Chris Martin - is it true that you spent time in Zimbabwe!? I grew up there... Strawberry Swing is loosely based upon the musical vibes there...So proud of you!

    The Oracle replies:

Yes that's true and as far as I know, his Aunty still lives there. Glad you enjoyed the show.

    Q. Hey Oracle! Just a silly question. Is there any way to get a Viva Jacket? It's incredible and it would be nice to have it. Thank you very much!

    The Oracle replies:

The jackets were bespoke so they're not available anywhere commercially. We did auction some of them back at the end of 2009 for charity. I have seen so many people at shows wearing their own home-made versions (I recall a photo in my Latin America tour photo album) so if you're handy with a needle and thread you could easily cutomize a jacket. If you're not, I'm sure you could get someone else to do it.

    Q. Hey Oracle, I love Coldplay's ever changing style, but I was just wondering why they seem to have strayed away from the old acoustic stuff from Parachutes and A Rush of Blood to the Head, that made them so popular in the first place?

    The Oracle replies:

They haven't strayed; they've evolved, grown and developed. I am not sure why any artist would want to continue on the same path by album 5. Without discussing the new album in detail, there are glimpses of the past and of course that's also to be expected - and welcomed. I'm not biased (not much) but I love all their styles and get excited about the future every time I see a new direction.
