I designed a logo for a consortium of chemical companies in the Southeast a few years ago and won an iPod video. Originally the prize was just an iPod nano but I sort of persuaded them to give me a nicer prize, lol.

That whole "guys think about sex every few seconds" thing is a myth, btw. Most men think about sex probably twice a day or so.

He sees the camera girl and realizes he has something in common with her. :D

I don't mean to come on to you or embarrass you but you're actually a really good looking guy. It confounds me why girls don't flock to you.

Dude... you're 16 and you never even masturbate? I'm not a doctor or anything, but that's probably quite rare. It's also probably not a good idea, medically speaking. And don't worry, it's not like a drug, LOL. Sometimes you're in the mood for it, and sometimes you're not. More often you're not. But for men, it's definitely better to make sure the plumbing is working every so often.
  6. lol I've actually given thought to the idea there could be something more powerful than an atomic bomb, like you mentioned. Maybe a "quantum bomb"! That thing would probably destroy the freaking solar system and leave a black hole in its wake. And I agree that there is probably some underlying basis of communication going on among living organisms. Remember a while back I mentioned the possibility that DNA somehow reads its environment and communicates with other DNA in as-yet-discovered ways. This is probably the true impetus for evolutionary changes to take place. Not random changes, but conscious decisions made on a quantum level... by who or whom? We may never know or understand.

Yeah it does, several studies have confirmed this. It keeps the prostate clear of toxins that can build up there over time. No negative health effects, either. I mean obviously you don't want to over do it... but don't feel guilty for it, either.
  8. Saffire replied to Sweet One's topic in The Lounge
Agreed, it actually prevents prostate cancer later in life.

Holy hell, lol. Talk about STD city.
  10. Saffire replied to Sweet One's topic in The Lounge
Exactly. This is part of the reason I hate "Sex and the City" with a passion, even if I've never seen it. It just commoditizes sex and makes it something to laugh about and discuss with your friends.

lol that's because you're 16 going on 25. Other guys your age are more interested in bragging about all the sex they've had (which probably isn't much, and it if is, it was probably intensely boring and clumsy).

The L word? L...Lesbians? (j/k, lol) But I actually agree with you 2732. In my ideal world I'd only have sex with who I'll be with forever...
  13. lol your stock just went up in my book. I don't get the school sports thing, either. btw, Nice pic Will.

Aha! Perfect. Since she never said marriage, then she's likely just holding off till she's sure she really loves you. I can totally respect that.

You're right, Jenika, society tells us to be profligate and conservative, but nothing in between. I'm saying there's room for people who are independent-minded and don't need a ceremony and government documents to let them know when it's "okay" to have sex. Like I said, that doesn't mean you have sex with all your girlfriends/boyfriends. It just means you treat sex like it should be treated - as a personal matter of high emotional importance. It annoys me when people say they're "waiting until marriage" because then it sounds like you've gotta get dressed up and eat a cake and dance before you can have sex. The correct answer should be "I'm waiting until I'm sure this person won't emotionally harm me". I suspect the marriage thing is tossed in there to abdicate her from having to admit she doesn't fully trust you yet!
  16. You're hot as it is man, don't make it worse. :wink3: And yeah, I agree... I voted Scottish.
  17. Saffire replied to Sweet One's topic in The Lounge
lol, don't take me very seriously, I'm just talking philosophically. I'm sure she's a great girl, she's just been misled by society. Next thing you know she'll want a diamond ring or something! (hint: it's a shiny rock that's not worth the space it inhabits, and De Beers makes a fortune off making people think they're rare - they're not.)
  18. Saffire replied to Sweet One's topic in The Lounge
But you'd still admit it's an arbitrary decision on her part to withhold sex from you. The "purity" issue for girls is something I suspect bubbles up again later on after marriage in the form of "I've got a headache" or whatever. Women often underestimate how important sex is in a relationship with a man.
  19. Saffire replied to Sweet One's topic in The Lounge
I could easily reverse this: Maybe your partner should think of your happiness and have sex with you!
  20. Saffire replied to Sweet One's topic in The Lounge
Agreed. This isn't to say Sex should be cheap, and you should be a floozy. Quite the contrary. But just because you wait until your wedding night to have sex doesn't mean you've accomplished anything of real significance. 50% of marriages end in divorce now anyway. So the fact you've "pleased the tribe" by waiting only gives you a temporary psychic satisfaction.
  21. It's funny how northerners (Americans) tend to associate having a southern accent with being dumb. It's like the last bit of stereotyping that's socially acceptable these days. Some of the smartest people I've ever met have strong southern accents.
  22. Saffire replied to Sweet One's topic in The Lounge
I dunno if I buy into this whole "worth the wait" thing, but that's just me. I think it's sort of selfish and stupid for someone to "hold out" until marriage, which is just a social construct anyway. *has tomatoes thrown at him*
  23. We probably sound like cats to them. Meow Meow Meow! Or something.
  24. No it's true, Germans are hard-working. Isn't the German economy 2nd in the world behind America? It's the main reason the EU is so strong.
  25. Ah, hi Rick! Speaking of Rick, a German accent makes me trust someone. I think it's because there is a BMW manufacturing plant here in SC, and whenever I've encountered Germans they're highly-paid engineers.
