Band's fourth album is at mixing stage, say NME Coldplay have reached the mixing stage of their fourth album, it has been revealed. Kenny Anderson (aka King Creosote) revealed that his producer Jon Hopkins has been working on the production of Coldplay's new album. He told BBC 6Music that Hopkins recently mixed a song with Coldplay's Chris Martin. "He's [Hopkins] done a mix of a song for them [Coldplay], I think they're really happy with that," said Anderson, before going on to explain that Hopkins had been playing keyboard on the new album. "He's sitting in as their sort of guest keyboard player," he said. "They've been rehearsing for the new album, and he's sitting in doing keyboard parts, so I think they're trying stuff out. What effects do you use for trouble

Probably, I don't know how accurate that is, I usually just repeat everything throughout the song, except for the intro, which there is a minor difference. I also really didn't use this. I found a video on youtube to help me get started and then kind of improvised from there.

Then whats the point of having a keyboard amp if you can use speakers?

So you recomend not using a keyboard amp as a PA system, and by speakers do you mean floor monitors?

Sorry if I sound really lost but Ive been playing guitar for the past 4 yours and have taught myself piano for the past 2. I have been wanting to play live somewhere for awhile. I guess I have trouble understanding how to get everyone to hear you. What should I do to have people hear vocals. Ive noticed that some keyboard amps have PA systems on them, do I use that? If not, then what, especially if the place dosent have a pa system of its own?

So then what are you guys using to amp your keyboards?

Yeah its a MO 8, I obviously love it. I have been using my guitar amp and have not been able to get the sound I want. Keyboard amps in general are really expensive, and I really don't like guitar center. The people there always try to act your age by saying 'man' and 'dude'. They are also really intimidating.

I have a Yamaha keyboard and have been looking for an amp for it. The problem is is that they are very expensive and Behringer, although are cheap, I have been told can fall apart easily and it is very hard to get parts for them. So my question is is if I can use a floor monitor as a keyboard amp

Whats your budget? Make sure to get something with weighted keys

So today during my break I was studying when a new worker of two weeks came up to me and asks "What are you going to do when theres a draft?" I replied with "There isn't going to be one especially since it is democratic majority." He continued with saying that when Bush leaves office or is impeached (i dont think he knows the meaning of the word) that democrats are going to propose it. He then continued to say that the reason we're in Iraq is because Saddam Hussein planned an assassination attempt against George Bush Sr. He then said that there is going to be a major terror attack during the spring. Finally, and the most appalling, he said that there are concentration camps in the US including 8 in WI and Illinois. He said I should go downtown to the train station and will find train carts. He then said that after Iraq and Afghanistan we are going to move in to Iran and Syria and that we have cruisers in the Persian Gulf waiting to be deployed in 2 weeks. I was so scared I started shaking and left work early. Im not looking for anyones political views, just venting. He said he was going to give me a website with all of this information. I said that I wanted to see these sources. I went and talked to my boss and he said that the guy is obviously alittle left of center

I got a MO 8 in July and at the time I didn't have enough money left for a keyboard amp. In the meantime I have just been using my guitar amp http://www.zzounds.com/item--FEN0231502000 . I guess what I want to know is if it is worth purchasing a keyboard amp. Will there really be a significant difference?
