I think thats there to look cool in shows like Top of the Pops and SNL. Maybe he does it on tour but I doubt it :)

Has anyone got any backstage footage of Coldplay? Simililar to the NME thing and the Tour Diary on the DVD. I want to see some more of that stuff

I'm sure that they play backing tracks along with the songs. The band will have cue's in the earpieces. I remember hearing In my Place being played and the backing track started and Chris was like 'whoops'. Also, I remember in the tour diary seeing a synth on top of chris piano at the Hollywood Bowl. whether that had the backing tracks as presets, I don't know

the acoustic I just worked out on Square One. Its pretty simple... 0---0---0----0 5---2---9----7 6---2---9----8 7---4---11---9 7---4---11---9 5---2---9----7 I know that these are definatly the chords used. Chris never uses bar chords. Its always his thumb so learn to do that if you want to learn any Coldplay.
