I realised a few weeks ago that when Jonny plays the Chorus to Shiver, he mutes the 1st, 2nd and 4th string so that he can sort of strum it. It takes a bit of getting used to but thats how he does it

the books aren't that accurate but they help a lot. you just have to work out the rest for yourself

what I meant to say was tune the guitar down half a step

for the acoustic you tune the bottom string to D# and then tune the rest of the string to that. chords are 0--0--0 0--7--9 1--8--9 2--9--11 2--9--11 0--7--9 thats the beginning bit anyway
