Really agree with what you said about Speed of Sound. What If is kind of the opposite of Speed of Sound: you really need to pay attention to it and when you do, you understand the emotions and the meaning behind it. X&Y Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Drum Intro is incredible. I generally think that the Drums in AROBTTH are the best. Oddly enough, I also somehow relate it to regret.. Fun Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Nice comment on PoC! Very strong lyrics that are beautifully sung. I feel those lyrics are like a normal conversation? Like I could imagine a person in real life having this conversation and saying those lines without the intention of quoting this song, I guess that's the reason why I can relate to it so easily? Yes!! I am actually lying in bed right now listening to it right now lol. I always remember a line that's actually not part of this song.. "A wonderful adventure!" It's the last line they use from Charlie Chaplin's speech in this year's tour before Will starts the drums and the concert kicks off, and you feel an incredible adrenaline rush!! This song really symbolizes the start of an incredible adventure, the quiet start leading up to the guitar and the lyrics.. It's like they want to tell you to buckle up because we are about to present to you an incredible album. I also always remember the color red because at the start of the concert xylobands, screens and confetti are that color (: I know many don't like this song but Princess of China? The 'Coldplay has changed' rant
Each Album they had is an individual unique project, with it's own theme, colors, similar music, even outfits. You can even see it in the tour: AHFOD has the most colors, GS is mainly blue/ white / grey / purple, the way Chris sings depending on from which album the song is, etc. I think it's very impressive that they've had this variation throughout their career, especially shifting between Rock and the 'new' Pop. Each Album represents a phase, a mood, an idea, whatever you wanna call it. No one stays the same throughout their lives, and therefore the music doesn't stay the same. Also, not many bands have been able to make music that you can relate to in so many different situations. Wanna dance? AOAL. Angry? Politik. Heartbroken? Ghoststory. So people should appreciate that a band has been able to present that huge variety. Also, not many bands have been able to sell out stadiums for at least 10 years! And that's mainly because their audience has grown so much, if you look at the crowd from this year's tour you'll find people from all age groups. So yeah, "new" Coldplay is different, but it's not bad. There's a huge difference between both words. There are some people who do not relate to the new albums, which is normal. Buut, there are people who've known the band for over a decade who like the style now more, and there are people who randomly decided to go a Coldplay Concert a couple of weeks ago, and then decided to listen to some old stuff and found Brothers & Sisters incredible. Everything is possible! And at the end of the day, regardless of the album, the song, we all love the same band, the same 4 guys - so you have to realize that we're all part of one big fandom, just with different branches (:

Random Coldplay thoughts...
Random opinion: The Latin American leg was my favorite from the AHFOD tour, crowds were incredible, song choices were on point (Politik!! - A Message - AROBTTH - ...) Also another random thought, I'm kinda missing that rock-ish concert viber this time.

The Coldplay Domino
AHFOD: they both mention "worlds" and there are explosions, wether as a word in the lyrics or confetti explosions during the tour!

Saddest lyrics in a Coldplay song ?
Ghost Story is truly very sad! never thought about it in that way. I don't know if someone feels the same way like I do about Moving to Mars but it really gets me. "Somewhere up above the stars, the wreckage of a universe floats past" "They'll be tearing us apart, maybe moving us to Mars" There's something about those lyrics.. it's like foreseeing the destructive end of the world. It's not your typical break up or love related sad song, but just a generally sad song - a bit like Politik
