1. I made this, but I don't know if it will change anything. https://www.change.org/p/coldplayers-coldplay-lower-ticket-prices
2. That's weird, because I purchased them through ticketmaster.com for their TD Garden show last year. When I said seat, I meant being on the floor, sitting or standing.
3. Are you sure? I'm pretty sure I paid more than $200 for a floor seat for U2. And I'm in the 5th row for a Coldplay concert and it was only $225 not $850.
4. The reason why ticket prices are higher for 2017 than 2016 (my guess) Last year (2016) was slightly lower because AHFOD was new and they were getting much more money from the album. Now that the album is nearly a year old, they aren't getting as much from the album, so they had to raise ticket prices a bit to have some form of income.
5. I was planning on donating, and I probably will, but have you guys (@Stephen and staff members involved) decided on a charity for next year? I'd like to suggest Bono's charity (RED) which helps fight AIDS but you can choose whatever you want. The charity website is http://red.org and you can donate by going to http://red.org/donate. I might donate, but if you decide on this charity for next year, I'd donate then. Whatever you want! I'm just making a suggestion.
6. Be sure to tell @Stephen about your donation so he gives you the Charity Donator tag! You should have put your forum username in the form you had to fill out to donate...
7. Yeah I just used the Citi presale because for whatever reason Coldplay never emailed me the code. Got 4 seats for Gillette Stadium, just 2 rows behind where I sat last year. I'm not on the floor, because they are so much harder to get a decent seat. $225 each, so I paid $1000 plus taxes and fees. And I got 2 seats in the 4th row on the floor for Metlife Stadium. Did I mention tickets were $1000 each for those seats? Not including taxes and fees. Altogether, those tickets cost over $3500 with taxes and fees, which is ridiculous!
8. . My show in Chicago ended early due to the rain. Thankfully I saw them in Boston and Philadelphia too so that made up for it.
9. That's Coldplay's way of saying we love you
10. My uncle used the code DANCE but that didn't work for me. I used the Citi presale.
11. Last year I was stuck paying $3000 for the 3rd row. I didn't even want to sit there but my family insisted we buy them because it was right next to the runway.
12. I did because I live in the US. I just moved to the UK now for a project until June next year
13. Well then again the first European leg was longer than one of the MX Euro legs. I'll say two, but they might do a short third. We'll have the people in Latin America complain because we are getting more legs in Europe and North America but who cares?
14. Didn't get mine yet :( For the US/Canada Tour I'll be going to "New York" (It's actually in New Jersey) Boston Montreal Toronto Washington DC So excited!
15. It was $800 US dollars for 4 people at Gillette Stadium. $100-500 I guess
16. There's the AMEX/Fan presale on October 10th and general tickets go on sale October 15th and they will stay on sale.
17. I think they need to do them early so one people are excited (see Europe leg) and two they have the money for lighting and other stuff.
18. That's the Coldplay way of getting people hyped.
19. Especially the Paris shows. A lot of people were wondering why they didn't go back to Wembley though.
20. You never know. My mom's friend from childhood lives in a suburb of Atlanta and she is a huge Coldplay fan! And I mean huge! She basically followed them on most shows of the entire tour, across all legs. I don't think she'll care whether or not they add Atlanta. By the way, where she got the money to go to 150+ shows, I don't know.
21. My uncle works at a security firm in New York City. During the Mylo Xyloto, they literally bought a third of the seats for both Barclays Center shows and the Mohegan Sun show. Now that's unfair. But at least he gave me the tickets he got.
