I don't really know of many in Europe because smaller arenas would be considered hockey arenas, and I don't think there are as many in Europe as there are in the US/Canada. The Mohegan Sun Arena here in the US was easily the smallest venue of the entire MX tour, Europe included, not including promo shows. It would be nice if they had an arena with a similar size in Europe. I really do hope they play in Europe (Paris specifically) because I went to the UK for a Wembley show and one of the Manchester shows back in June and it was my first time seeing Coldplay outside of North America. I've never been to Paris before, so if they play in Paris, not only will I be seeing Coldplay again, but I'll be visiting a new city and a new country!

They never play in NYC anymore :( Metlife doesn't count even if it was #ColdplayNewYork. At least they played at the Beacon Theater in 2014 for Ghost Stories.

Oh yes, I remember when Wells Fargo Center was the Wachovia. Good times... Likely they'll be in Canada late spring/summer like during the MX tour. Chris made it sound like Canada is getting its own leg, but we'll have to wait and see.

Canada is confirmed for next year.

Can someone provide me with a list of songs played over the speakers before the opening acts and in between them? I already have White Diamond. I remembered a few more but forgot the names :( All help appreciated!

I liked the climax at the end of the theme, and the blue lights that slowly faded onto the stage in the middle of the theme.

They played it at both Metlife shows and Boston and Philadelphia too!

For the AHFOD tour, O Mio Babbino Caro was sung by Miriam Gauci, not Maria Callas. The two versions sound completely different, and at all 6 of the Coldplay shows I was at (one in Europe, 5 in US) played the version by Miriam Gauci.

This post is about US shows. I'd like to see what Coldplay would do at Madison Square Garden (New York City, USA). I believe the last time they played there was during the X&Y or probably before that. After the Viva tour their shows started getting bigger in terms of lighting, visuals, etc. Since MSG is a relatively big arena, I'd like to see what they do with it, if they play there. In addition, it would be cool if they played at other arenas in the US they haven't played at since the MX tour: Barclays Center (Brooklyn, NY), Wells-Fargo Center (Philadelphia, PA), or the TD Garden (Boston, MA). The only reason I'm mentioning arenas and not stadiums is because likely they'll play most of the stadiums they played during the US leg of the AHFOD tour. Also I live on the east coast so that's why I didn't mention any arenas on the west coast. Agree or disagree?

Well obviously they'll play at Wembley no matter what. :)

I just had mine a few hours ago! So I was at school, and I was pretty unhappy for some reason and I don't know why. As I was taking the shuttle to my first class, which was on the other side of campus, I noticed that a Coldplay song was playing inside the shuttle. It was Birds! I don't think I have ever heard that song outside of my life other than the 3 Coldplay concerts I went to over the summer. So I was finished with all my classes for the day at around 1pm, so I headed back to my dorm to study. I walked into the dorm, and I heard Coldplay coming from the speakers (we have a few Sonos speakers set up in there) apparently on shuffle. I see that someone (most likely my roommate, because who else would be in there) polished my AHFOD poster, which is framed above my bed. No idea why any of this happened, but I am now happy as I am listening to my favorite band in the world as I type this. So that's your random Coldplay moment for the day.

Ok then. Moderators, I guess this thread can be locked since this version of Xenforo doesn't let regular Coldplayers do it themselves.

Thanks for the info. I actually saw that thread before posting this thread. I just felt like there was a name for the thing that was used during the tour that was identical to that photo. I was talking about the spiral things directly behind Chris. Wasn't there a name for that? I believe there was because I googled it after that and the first 10 results were that design.

I completely forgot, but what is the name for this image? I feel like the name was Circle of Life, but that can't be right because AHFOD was the flower of life. Hey, you never know. It just went out of my head. Now I forgot the name for it. It was used as neon tubes in the MX tour so I was wondering...

Yeah I watched that. Is there any way to undo YouTube's stabilization? Otherwise the clip is great! I was there so it was great to re-live the experience.

It's somewhat hard. I was lucky to get 5th row seats next to the runway via Ticketmaster about a week before the show. Just know that I paid about $1000 for 4 tickets. That's in US dollars.

There was one on iOS, but it got removed. The Google Play/Android version is still online, but it is getting removed very soon. They are looking for a developer to make a new version that doesn't require the $600/year development fees.

My guess is a patch from a plugin like NI Massive or recorded directly from synth modules in the studio.

This has been asked on other sites a ton of times but looking at some other threads here, this might be able to get answered. At the very beginning of Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall, there's the synth intro (not the outro from M.M.I.X that continues into the beginning of ETIAW, but the intro that starts ETIAW). Any idea what synth instrument or module or plug-in was used to make it? I don't have a audio recording to attach because I'm posting this from my iPhone. Just pull up a recording and at 0:03 there's the intro. Please do not send me a link to the stems. I just needed help with finding the instrument that created the stem in the first place. Also, taking a look at the instrument Guy used live during the AHFOD tour, I'd say it wasn't that keyboard and was a MIDI controller. All help appreciated, thanks!
