  1. Being fairly new to the Coldplay fandom family, I just found out about "Moses" and I am in love with it. I always knew that Chris had written this song for Gwyneth, but it never occurred to me to look it up and listen to it, until I randomly stumbled upon it this week. I've been listening to it on a loop. I prefer the acoustic version.
  2. I had a pretty elaborate Coldplay/Chris Martin dream very early this morning. It went like this... Someway, somehow to my astonishment I ended up at a Coldplay concert. I found it weird, because as far as I knew, there is nothing is in the works as far future musical endeavors are concerned, hence no concerts in the near future. About half way into it, the concert slowed down a bit. Will and Guy each sang a song. We all have heard Will sing, so nothing new here. But when Guy sang, and I can't remember what it was, but I remember how every one was surprised Guy could actually sing. All th
  3. During the kiss: bridge/chorus of "Army of One" to play. Leaving the church: "Something Just Like This". First dance: "Amazing Day" followed by "Adventure of a Lifetime" Father-Daughter dance: don't know yet Leaving the reception: "Amazing Day"
  4. To all you Coldplayers who haven't had a wedding yet, which Coldplay songs would you include in your wedding playlist? As for me, in no particular order: -Always in My Head -A Sky Full of Stars -Amazing Day -Fun -Adventure of a Lifetime -Army of One
  5. ♫Turn the magic on Umi she'd say♫ What is "Umi"?
  6. Chris' enunciation, or lack thereof makes me wonder what he's saying most of the time or makes me mishear the lyrics altogether, lol. Mind you, English is not my first language. I've been in the U.S. for 15 years and consider myself fluent in English. I can understand most varieties of English but I have to say, Chris' accent is very pronounced in his singing. In 'Clocks' I always thought he was saying 'Come out of things of sin' when really he was saying "Come out of things unsaid". In 'Midnight', unless I'm reading the lyrics, I have no clue what he's saying, lol
  7. I would love love love, if anyone had standing or seated tickets for Frankfurt June 30 or July 1
  8. Hi everyone! For those who haven't seen my short introduction in the "new here" sub-forum, I am a newly minted Coldplay fan. I didn't just find out about them, I just never listened to their songs until recently. I've been obsessing over it ever since, and there's one thing I noticed. I noticed that Coldplay mentions birds. A lot. As longtime fans you may probably already have the answer to this, but what is the significance of birds in Coldplay's music? Has this been addressed in an interview? Examples I can think of and that I've encountered while discovering their music: -Speed of
  9. Hi everyone! I'm new to this forum. My name is Cindy and I live in Northern Virginia, about 35 minutes away from Washington, D.C. I'm new to the Coldplaying family--I've always been aware of Coldplay without paying much attention to them. It wasn't until February of this year that I experienced some kind of 'Aha moment' about Coldplay and I've been obsessing over them ever since, making up for lost time, lol.
