there are alot guitars that sound more crap then squier , like Stagg , washburn , cort in that price category. and again squier is no crap !!!!! towards the standard series offcourse

Well i wouldn't say sound better because all these models have a unique sound so its what you prefer . My friend has an gibson SG and i my thinline feels and play smoothere then his one. So better guitar then thinline must be a vintage one.

well as i look the the topic starte . I would just say squier nice beginner guitars 4OO $ to much altough its one of master series So i don't know anything about it . the fender standard series cost here about 5OO euro and i think squier would beat them for the price

no he didn't his rig had almost every pedal he uses now so rat , micro amp , reverb, tremelo, I don't think the twins made alot of difference. But any way i can get this sound with wah as in that period he used it alot.

You noticed to that sound like don't panic everything not lost . First i thought hist jerry donahue made this sound. But now i think he just uses his was wah pedal for that sound. I have exactely his wah ( discontinued serie). And with the knob turned 2 clicks to the bass side it sound like his sound.

well i think the discussion end point would be 1) Squier are VERY GOOD guitars for there PRICE!! So if you don't have monster budget like many people this guitar is it. 2) Yeah offcourse if you have a vintage guitar of 5000$ you could also say that the mex thinline would play like crap . So it's normal that a more expensive guitar is better. Voila so fender is better than squier but only if you look further then the cheapest fender guitars.
