Yeah I´m at university. I used the wrong word school. In Amsterdam. It´s all about international politics. That´s why Make Trade Fair is getting my attention. I´ll play and record solo. I know I sound like a bounder but I´ll play 5 instruments(Guitar, Banjo, Piano, Cello and Drums). I sing too. So I´m lucky we have a simple home studio where I can record my things. It´s kinda Singersongwriter/Folk. I´m pretty in to these genres.

Well it´s really offtopic but I´m still going to school. I´m studying(fuck I can´t find the english word)political things. A school all about Politics. Besides that I´m working in a bakery in the weekend. And I make some home recorded music.

My point is. Wich mainspring makes people to come up with these topics? And I said I´m dutch so yes I´m making mistakes in my posts. At least I can understand and write some English. Pretty cowardly attack.

Many people are taking my posts as an attack. And I know I said some things wich are slightly wrong and precipitate. But I explained them. You may consider it as criticism. But healthy criticism. Criticism we are talking about.

Why? Why are you participating in this conversation if you don´t have anyhing usefull to say? I can name a lot of guys wich are not sharing my opinion but I respect them. They are saying something I think about.

I don't think she is out to attack everyone on the board, she is making comments about the overall nature of the board. Don't we allow criticism on this board? in that case let us have names! What exactly do you think she meant by "lame and dumb"? People who make silly topics wich have nothing to do where it´s all about. Music.

Here is a point I agree with you. I´ll buy X&Y anyway. It´s not only supporting a band/artist/project(though I think Coldplay/Emi/Parlophone don´t need my financial support). It´s also cool to have stuff original. I´ve got about 350 cd´s(original)and I can tell you it looks really good to see all these records in big cd tower. I´m not feeling guilty when I download something. A bad quality I own is that I don´t have the ability to wait. I want everything as soon as possible. A thing I do encourage wich Coldplay pergorms in is Make Trade Fair. I´m supporting this Oxfam project a 100%. That´s an aspect I´d always admired from these guys.

Ok where shall I start. First. I never said I don´t like them, I never said I don´t like AROBTTH. For me they are average but they are good enough to interest me. So hell yeah I want X&Y. When I said I was observing the board I meant getting info about new tracks, new tasters. Just new info if the thing already leaked. I understand there are such boards like this one, but the thing I don´t understand is why people are wasting their time with these nonsense topics. It´s not like I´m making this topic just to show my opinion. I was just curious what you guys/girls were thinking about it. It´s not that I´m screaming for attention(and I know I will get some childish reply´s on this wich tell I am screaming for attention).

Radiofriendly music is music wich is easy to pick up. It´s like hearing a song for the first time and right on that moment you are used to it. It doesn´t need a second time listening. Most of them are pretty catchy tunes.

If you don´t know the term radiofriendly music than this conversation is useless.

when you give them Yellow they will listen. when you give them Daylight they fall off. it makes no different. Haha that´s nonsense you know that. On Parachutes there are only 2 or 3 tracks wich are ok for radio. On AROBTTH it´s the opposite. So about 8 tracks. Parachutes has a whole different sound. More depressing. And a whole different production.

Most of the People here including myself do have a great Love for Coldplay, and other bands... see Music Section other bands etc ! However as for calling the people on here lame.... I really dont think you have a place to make such a wild comment... This has been a very active board for many years now... and the Fansite it self was voted 15th out of the top 100 bands out there. I said that a littlebit wrong. I admit. I meant some people. not all of them. I told you I´m here because I´m interested in coldplay. And the new album.
