  1. This thread is really funny lol. I really don't think there will be a leak, but I continue to check this thread for updates. I used to get excited when I'd come back and see four or so new pages, now I figure it is just a bunch of random conversation.
  2. I'll be there too, can't wait. Going to the Georgia Tech game with my girlfriend at noon, then we are going straight to Piedmont Park. According to the set list of Music Midtown, we are going to get the band for an hour and forty five minutes. I wonder if they will play anything different/new for us in Atlanta? I hope so!
  3. Haters are gonna hate and.. lovers are gonna love. You can't please everybody, and obviously they didn't with this song. So yeah, you can never really please everyone with music. We all have 'different' reasons for liking this band. I have never really been a Coldplay fan because of their lyrics. It's always been a music attraction, their music is really beautiful, and that seems to be extremely rare with music nowadays. I really wasn't much of a fan of ETIAW. Both the lyrics and music weren't that good. I even change the station or turn the music down when that song comes on because I get the "what happened to your band dude" look or conversation. I tell them that they have other good songs and this is just one bad song out how many. Part of me feels like I might get the same type of response to this song? Probably because the lyrics are unoriginal (being nice). The song title should be para-para-para-paradise instead. However, the music is GREAT. I really can close my eyes and enjoy the beauty of the music unlike ETIAW. Back to my music before lyric point, it seems like they are writing the songs waaaay before any of the lyrics are composed. This album is a love story? Well, they wrote a lot of music that they liked and fit a bunch of cheesy lyrics into it. I think I can get over that, assuming the songs follow the sound of this instead of ETIAW. Hate away on the lyrics if you want, I think a lot of us understand that. But the music? Sing a long because you love the melody, not the meaning. I think it really might help a lot of you.
  4. Okay, this has probably been asked before, so sorry I'm coming off as redundant. I don't really post here much, but I love to read everyones opinion of the band. Lovers in Japan is probably my favorite song off the new cd, and IMO one of their best songs ever. My question is what version does everybody else like better? Studio or acoustic? Personally, I enjoy the acoustic version more, but a lot of my friends (who really aren't big Coldplay fans) enjoy the studio version much more. Also on a side note, anybody here going to the show in Atlanta, GA?
  5. I have been a member here for awhile and never posted, but this song made me. I am a HUGE coldplay fan, but I'm not much for the board talk. This song is great. I love violet hill and viva la vida, but this song is just great. Great. Coldplay puts so much work into their songs, and it is always so apparent when their cd's come out. You might have a song that you don't like to much on there, but that song is still good. Other bands just produce a few good songs and add a bunch of fillers. A filler on a Coldplay CD? I don't think so. Then they have songs that are just so good, it's impossible for you to see why somebody else doesn't like this band. This is one of those songs, and it is just the acoustic version. I'm amazed. I really can't wait for this CD to come out!
  6. this song now(@ whatever:54), and the song before it-what are they called? were they included in that playlist of 'last few songs' you had up there jackie?
  7. this is gong to be a long 30 minutes
  8. Trust me, I'm going to listen! My nerves are kinda crazy right now. I've had a bad week, so I'm worried that my luck will continue and we'll get lil snipets of each song.
  9. Anybody live out there in Belgium that could call the radio station and see exactly what their plans are for the playing of this album?
  10. I have all their songs at random- so I'm going back and forth between the 2 cd's.
  11. I like AROBTTH better than Parachutes too
  12. Hopefully they will play all of it. I have no idea what they are doing cause I can't understand the DJ.
  13. yeah I had NO idea what it said. I just messed with it and kinda guessed what the keys meant and got it to work.
  14. I used Xstreamradio.
  15. does this one sound ok? http://rapidshare.de/files/2052293/Opname002.mp3.html
