  1. Kara it is then! It is scary! I never got to meet them... I suppose if I'd really tried I might have, back in the day, but at the time I thought they were amazing and the best thing since sliced bread.. then look what happened!! BOOM! the Coldplay revolution...:laugh4:
  2. Thanks :D I know what you mean about "getting" Spies... Spies and Sparks were the two tracks I always used to skip... to my total shame now of course  High Speed is amazin also crazyduckette.. and very underated... In fact I think the whole Parachutes era is underated! I saw them when they were only ickle tiny Coldplay in 2001 and noone really cared about them too much - i know, can you imagine? :laugh4: And I have to say, I loved that gig more than the 2005 one... :surprised: Both great of course... but still... ah the old days! when you could almost reach out and touch the band the venues were so small.. :stunned:
  3. hahahha... oh yes... there'd be uncensored photos all over the world!! :stunned:
  4. ooooooooooooh if we're starting this game, i'd be happy to hear sparks live... never heard it live before... and yes, i probably would cry my eyes out... cos i love it sooooo :D
  5. ha, very true............... "do you know the man who lives next door to your auntie's sister's friend's uncle who works in that shop beside your granny's hairdresser... you know, the man with the shoes..." I think my parents were actually pretty mad at me for graduating with an English degree which they funded for 3 years... and then I decided I was going to take myself off and start a nursing degree :S But 2 years on, I think I'm in the good books 'cos they've realised it took alot for me to make the change and now I'm working my arse off so I can have a good career which I will enjoy
  6. oh yes, bouncing away!! it would appear that noone else is going to the 19th gig... even though it's sold out... :( that'll just be me and Coldplay then!!
  7. haha ian :drunk: i can just imagine you waving your pint around and singing your little heart out to "fix you" :laugh4:
  8. well i'm shorter than that, 5"000000000000000.1... :laugh4: and flip all concessions did i see coming my way :P
  9. True... although I remember queuing outside Odyssey for the 2002 gig in November... Even though we had seats!! Haha... so silly... Couldn't feel my feet by the time the doors opened!!
  10. yeah it's a good job that................ 'twill be freezing that time o year :laugh4:
  11. awesome! how was it?! or do i have to ask... :)
  12. ^that's a fantastic photo this one caught my attention, as from what i can gather, in the Odyssey this is roughly the view I will be getting - but probably closer as it is a much smaller venue than the one in Chicago  :D http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/gallery/showphoto.php/photo/36013
  13. thanks!! :D I am so excited for everyone who got tickets. I think the buzz at the the gigs is going to be brill, despite the goings-on here today on the board :nice:
  14. I LOVE you I feel like I am fighting a losing battle here today :laugh4: What the bloody hell is happening?! and as for YOU CP678... hooray!!! :D:D:D:D
  15. Well said. What about people who might be disabled or someone who can't stand in crowds for a long time? Are they not "real fans"? This "boohoo but I wanted a standing ticket" whining has been going on for hours now. God help you if you're sitting beside me and you do nothing but complain, because your eyeballs are still going to be seeing the same band that everyone else is seeing. Just wise up. At the end of the day we're going to see Coldplay. Live. End of.
  16. a hell of a lot of complainers here today :stunned: ... But yes!! So close to home... Like being in your living room! :laugh4:
  17. awww hehehe :nice: poor wee Jen sitting in the bin!! :laugh4:
  18. What is all this about mystery tickets... what if you ended up in the car park or something... ::surprised:
  19. Good post Belfast Boy.... good to see you back! I agree about the craftiness of adding the second date... my friend and I wanted two tickets and the first ones he was offered at about 9:02 were West tier, near the middle. We just bought them and were happy enough but then discovered the second gig and I ended up buying two more, near the front of the South (side) tier, which are much better than the West so hopefully my friend will get his sold... anyhoo can't wait to see them! bet you're relieved after missing out on 2005 - it was amazing, and this one promises to be 100% better with another new album behind them :D
