  1. What the hell? This is crazy!! surely it can't be any way legal? SUE!!!!!!!! his ass off :P chi-ching, and then buy the school and paint it green. maybe he'll see THAT!!
  2. Where is David going? :( What happened to that Big Romance that was so hot not so long ago.... :inquisitive: Man, that sure fizzled out before it even began :laugh4:
  3. I've love to know why the MEN gig is miles cheaper than the Odyssey gig :P .. rising fuel charges to power the plane over to Belfast perhaps? Should I blame Gordon... :inquisitive:
  4. Oh for goodness sake. By saying leave the tickets I simply meant this: You are complaining about sitting - This is the only option and there's not a hell of a lot we can do about it I'm afraid. Yes - you're 110% entitled to your opinions, as I am, so I'm just saying GET OVER IT and sit on your asses :laugh4: - Although once the gig gets going... I'm sure noone will be sitting anyway :)
  5. *cliche alert...* I respect what you are all saying, but there is, after all, only a limited number of people who can actually get up close - if you are lucky enough to get anywhere near the front then you're usually pushed and shoved throughout - for people lacking in the height department like myself I agree that yes, there is often a better atmosphere standing, but personally I think seating is better so that everyone gets a fair deal. The Odyssey stage is pretty high so I think the chances of staring at someone's head are pretty slim, and also - we seem to be forgetting that Coldplay are coming to Belfast and not Dublin, so if you're going to complain about seating leave the tickets for people who will see their favourite band no matter what, or else look at the bigger picture and thank yourselves lucky that they didn't choose Dublin instead.
  6. If you check out this thread, the numerous links for the Odyssey and ticketmaster which have been posted you will find the prices .. I'd say seats on the ground are more expensive than up on the sides... :) And people standing in front of you in seating concerts is no different than people standing in front of you at proper standing gigs :inquisitive:
  7. Ahhh don't be disappointed!! :( I really think this is a good move.... :nice: At the last gig people were standing for too long and ended up with the usual "let's throw water and beer over the crowd".... it made me soooo mad.... Also, because I'm only about 5" I never get a good view of bands - the only way I saw anything of the Manics when they were in the Waterfront was cos Nicky Wire stood on an amp for like 3 seconds hahah... This way everyone gets a chance to have a decent view one of this best gigs in history - I will guarantee it :D
  8. I think it's just you.......................................................................................................................................................................... :laugh4: I don't think there is life out there. Earth... this is it! This is all there is..... If there is something else out there - we'll know when we have proper evidence. "Dust"... "OMG"... :stunned: They're wasting time sending these things into space when they could be investing the billions in the nightmare that is global warming and the depletion of our natural resources. Over and out...
  9. ^ WHO IS THIS SPAMMING TOOL BECAUSE I'M GONNA DECK HIM :stunned: Anyway I agree with you Zemy, this is can't be blamed on him. If anything, social workers/teachers/the family were in the wrong here and need to be seriously taken in line over this; surely the child was missing from school? I just don't know; The UK is crumbling before our very eyes...
  10. Why damn?I think this is better, cos at the 2005 gig I was standing beside some right tools and they almost ruined the show for me. At least sitting you might actually see the stage and the band - that's if we manage to get sitting down on the floor!! I REALLY HOPE I GET SEATS ON THE FLOOR!!! :surprised: Seats as in chairs... :smug:
  11. oh yes... valid point there about the 6 tickets... i didn't include that!! oops :laugh4: Update... The Odyssey gig will be fully seated ... :surprised: http://www.ticketmaster.ie/event/180040BDEAE53DCF?artistid=806431&majorcatid=10001&minorcatid=60 I think I am pleased about this... :inquisitive: :D
  12. interesting!!!!!! expensive... but so worth the hard earned cash!! *woohoo* i'm been so nervous all day - especially when i woke up thismorning and thought it was friday and that i'd slept in :dizzy: :laugh4:
  13. hello board :nice:

  15. (I posted this on page one :P arrrrrgghhhh sorry for being pernickity (is that how you spell it?) Thanks for postin' it again though - keeps non-1st page peeps up to date-that was probably your plan though.... :laugh4: ) ANYHOO..I agree about the Odyssey front page!! Cheered me up immensely :D Oh and people - I phoned the Box Office today... you can phone 'em from 9am on Friday morning (cos it says 10am on the site....yet another option! :idea2: AS long as I get a ticket I don't care how you all try :P :smug:
  16. ooooooooooooooh magic balls :sneaky: ahahaha what the hell does that mean :laugh4:
  17. :laugh4: I'm @ QUB too - wotcha studyin?! :D I know, I was trying to revise last night and I ended up playing all my Coldplay albums and didn't get a bit of work done :smug: So are there alot of people getting tickets from the Box Office? I was going to go down myself... but reckoned tickermaster website is the best way to go.... Cos if me and my friend are gonna stand there shouldn't be a problem.. I hope?!
  18. hahaha.... :stunned: oh dear? i just did a presentation in class :sweatdrop: i am relieved it is over but i have another tomorrow
  19. Well done indeed! Silly spammer
  20. :( aw grace.
  21. :( I wonder why they have chosen these venues.... I will admit I breathed a sigh of relief when I heard they were coming to Belfast... But Dublin people gonna be maaaaaaaaaad as hell, I know I would have been if it was the other way around.... David - Why don't you start a petition for south west, Wales and Newcastle (I still can't believe they're not doing Newcastle)
  22. Hiya :D I like your name - "Poptimistic"... funky
  23. I will teach you... ... with a little help from my friend :D
  24. Hey new people! Great to see ya :D http://www.odysseyarena.com/coldplay.html If you check out this site, you should be able to get the info you need.... Ticket price: To be confirmed! But you could phone Odyssey Box Office on 028 9073 9074 or call Ticketmaster's 24-hr credit card hotline on 0870 243 4455. NB Phone bookings subject to service charge. (http://www.odysseyarena.com) The 2005 gig sold out, but not quickly...I don't think so anyway! Best to get in there as soon as you can though. So people are you gonna go for sitting or standing? i'm gonna chance standing... even though I will need to purchase stilts... but I'd rather be close to front than sitting miles away...! Venue holds up to 10,000... if my sources are right! :)
  25. Aw you'll love 'em live! Great, such an atmosphere. Yup I've seen them 5 times.. :stunned: ... First time in 2001 at Slane - It was U2's homecoming gig after like a million years and I heard that Coldplay were playing - they weren't even the support act lol, RHCP were!! Aww, but so good. Then saw them Odyssey 2002, then at Witnness 2003, Glasgow 2005 and Odyssey 2005 again :laugh4: ... wow that's alot now I see it all written down! I applied to Brixton as well! That's how dedicated I am :laugh2:.... Well Peter, nice to meet you! I'm Hayley, in case you didn't guess  :D
