  1. £12.99 in HMV - I wanted the 'free' postcards that came with it! And the White Stripes album cover cardboard print when I bought Get Behind Me Satan! ;)
  2. What really annoys me is when record companies put that massive label on the front of the CD: "Will NOT play on PC/MAC." It's like wtf? I think record companies have learnt from that mistake though. The last song on my copy of X&Y wouldn't rip to iTunes either, which pissed me off. I just kicked my computer tower a few times and it worked - piece o' crap.
  3. I love both Coldplay and Radiohead, but it has to be said, Radiohead are slightly better. When Coldplay make their OK Computer I'll consider them on a par...
  4. There are so many amazing songs on this album that I think it may be about 6 months before I can even pick a definitive favourite, but I went with White Shadows. Talk is amazing because of the Kraftwerk sample, but after obsessing over it so much I've become a bit tired of it. Fix You is incredible, obviously, but I knew everyone would vote for that, so I didn't ;)
  5. 1. Clocks 2. Politik 3. Warning Sign 4. Fix You 5. The Scientist 6. Speed Of Sound 7. Trouble 8. Yellow 9. Talk 10. Amsterdam
  6. There are some really dumb people on Amazon.com - they posted reviews on the first day of it coming out slagging it off, when they haven't even given it a chance. I believe it's an album that grows on you over time, so the 1-star reviews over there are just a load of nonsense. There was one guy who gave it 5-stars and said that anyone who reviews it on the first day of it being released is "a MORON!" So I'm thinking, didn't YOU write a review? And what about people that actually love it and have given it a 5-star review like yourself? Are they morons? I submitted my review on Tuesday and I only did this because I wanted to post it early before it got lost in a sea of negative ones. I'm No.410 on Amazon's reviewer rank (389 reviews so far!) and I posted it because I'd spent the previous day listening to it NON-STOP. I think about 14 hours of my day must've been taken up listening to the album over and over so it would sink in on me, and it has. Love it - best album they've ever done.
  7. Oh my God, I've had exactly the same problem. iTunes copied every song to my iPod fine, apart from Til Kingdom Come. I took the CD back to HMV and the dude behind the counter swapped it for another one. I took it home, but I still had the same problem - now that surely can't just be a coincidence! Anyways, I just basically kicked my computer a few times after it had stalled the copying process, and it carried on fine, so now I have it all on my iPod. I suggest copying it to Media Player or another format, then importing it to iTunes. This might work for you :)
