oh, and I have to have a big shout-out to our one & only ANCHORMAN I emailed Debs last night to see if it would be possible for Anchorman to mention us, so when I saw the post last night thought it was thanks to her. She's replied this evening to say that by the time she saw the email and forwarded it to Anchorman, he'd already posted his piece on Coldplay.com. no wrath in this corner, but there is a personal, strong objection to your choice of word. its a particularly vile & vulgar word for which I have a pet hate. If I wanted to be particularly difficult, I would quote the conditions you agreed to when you joined the board and then enforce them, but we're relatively relaxed about the forum T&C's. We want this to be a fun place to visit without draconian rules, which is why there isn't a swear-word filter in place. By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws. If we enforced that all the time, there'd be a lot of empty threads around. me, me, me! I vote the whole thing null & void :D Anyway, I'm more concerned about the cows. VotingPlaylists from 16 forums will be selected to take part in the knock-out stage. The knock-out stage will take place over 4 rounds, and will start at 4.30pm (GMT) on Sunday 30 November 2008. Matches will be played between Sundays and Fridays. Winners in each match will be chosen by the public by way of an online vote at absoluteradio.co.uk/rockoff. Each match vote will be open for 23.5 hours, between 9.00pm (GMT) and 8.30pm (GMT) the following day, except matches that run from Sunday-Monday where they will be open for 28 hours, between 4.30pm (GMT) and 8.30pm (GMT) the following day. Only one vote per person per match is permitted. The winner of each match will be announced on-air at 9.00pm (GMT) Monday-Friday and at 4.30pm (GMT) on Sundays.
