I've heard of Colours of the Soul EP in the sense that it got leaked, listened to a few snippets back then and found those quite poor quality so it didn't stick in my memory. In retrospect, that's likely because of a dodgy source/fakes. Apart from Up&Up and AHFOD demoes, I seem to remember three other names: vampire symphony break of dawn heart on fire Anything else i'm missing?

I've got no idea, since I personally hadn't heard it before. There is also a demo for AHFOD (song), presume that's old as well then?

According to setlist.fm, the unknown song was played again during soundcheck today.

If that's true, this bunch of crewmembers need to start a band ASAP. Jokes aside though. If it is just crewmembers, which I doubt, we would have heard much more of these types of jams, with a lot more rumours about potential new songs. Lots of setlists from this tour on setlist.fm have some soundcheck songs listed. There might of course be a chance that the band was running late for whatever reason, and they asked crewmembers to do soundcheck. I believe I've seen crewmembers playing instruments on stage, but never with sound coming out of the speakers. Presumably just checking tuning and signal reception when walking around the stage.

I don't think a short build-up before release is out of the question. If we look back, the announcements for Music of the Spheres and A Head Full of Dreams were made well in advance, but Everyday Life and Ghost Stories both had about a month between announcement and release. - Ghost Stories had midnight release in februari, without any album reveal. This was followed by magic in april. Ghost Stories released in May. - Everyday Life got announced in October, released November.

It always makes me wonder how far they're planning ahead. For example, did they purposely leave some songs off vol.1 because they knew they had enough for 2 (or 3)? Or are they, for example, counting on writing more during/in between touring. They obviously hinted at MOTS in the everyday life booklet and in cry cry cry as well.

Not really related to Moon Music, but more MOTS in general. Considering the imminent announcement of a 3rd European leg, does the "melodic orbit in three parts" still hint at three volumes for Music of the Spheres? Or have they always intended to go around the world in three different "orbits" for their live shows?

The new version of the race that was uploaded to YouTube has just been removed due to a copyright strike. (happened while listening😑) Could that mean an announcement of a new single or e.p. is nearing? I remember them posting after last year's tour ended that they had gone back into the studio.
