Vote Pink Floyd in Absolute Radio Rock-Off
Good luck, we were more or less tied with them from the beggining and they still beat us. Don't underestimate them.

Albums of the Year: 2008 Results!
I think it means that last year it took me a lot longer to figure out what I was doing for one thing (seriously, I thought that there was more like 500 albums till I looked it up), but mainly that almost all of the big acts around here released an album this year. People look less when there's more to find easily.

Albums of the Year: 2008 Results!
It's interesting... there are about 50 eligible lists this year with about 200 eligible albums. Last year there were about 46 lists and 216 albums. But it seemed like more... Hopefully I'll have this ready for the weekend. So any guesses for the top 5? :wink3:

need info about song from 2003
Pour Me was indeed played both nights at the Hollywood Bowl, which is where the officially released version comes from. However, it was already in the setlist long before that, so it wasn't exactly written on that day. Your World Turns Upside Down (not to be confused with the totally different Fix You b-side of a similar title) was only played one night, and has never gotten passed a very rough stage. It has never been officially released and only exists in some bootlegs of varying quality. So it makes sense if it was first written the day it was first performed which looks like the Hollywood Bowl.

I think the fight had something to do with links, watermarks and who stole from who... But I don't know the whole story, so I should probably shut up now. :blank:

Ten minute Warning!!! :laugh3: No, Coldplay really doesn't need your help on this one. In fact I think it's best to vote strategically.

What's the date on that review? They played 2 nights in a row there. edit: setlists: night 1: http://www.easytoplease.net/tour.php?page=setlist05/31/03 night 2: http://www.easytoplease.net/tour.php?page=setlist06/02/03 Looks like Moses, Pour Me, or the original version of World Turned Upsidedown edit 2: Looking at earlier setlists, Moses and Pour Me had both been played earlier. World Turns Upside Down was played as an extra encore the second night, so it's that one.

I'm out of time... how appropriate. If only we'd had one more hour. It's still not Amsterdam. But it is though. :(
