  1. well... you're parents arent so strict so it's not that bad all parents do have streotypes- like asians with grades, and american with boys and girls and drinking and drugs... wonder if jewish parents have any stearotypes lol maybe that they're always like "eat! eat!"... like italian parents :P
  2. hahaha :laugh3: lol, if u wanna, i dont mind :P
  3. yea, everyone goes through a phase like that like, i used to go to these parties at this club every holiday when there was a party for our age. And i just hated it there, i sincerely hated it. And i still went to every party because all my friends went... only last year i realised that i dont have to go if i dont like it... and the friends i have have changed, like i realised that its better to have less, but really like them and like spending time with them and be really close...
  4. it always does :P before u know it, high school will be over... it really was like that for me... what kinda things are planned for your year?
  5. oh... well, going out would also be easier for u once u get a license and u can go out and come back whenever u want i used to have this american friend, she was my neighbour, and her mom would always ground her and she was hardly allowed to do anything. But that was when i was like in the 5th grade....
  6. here the first year of high school is 10th grade and i dont remember it much i switched to a better school so it was a confusing year for me- socially and educationally. I was really confused, like about who i was i hate my 16 year old self because i knew i was one thing, but i acted like something else i was really dumb

yea i think im addicted to chocolate that also has caffeine i tried to eat less chocolate, and i just couldnt and i drink but not enough to get me addicted and smoke hookas, but that's not addictive
  8. that's really early!! do u live far from your school? and dont worry about it, first of all, it becomes routine so it doesnt feel too bad getting up early second of all, when you're in school and u have 5 days a week where u go to school and get up early, u start to really appriciate the weekend! :P and third of all, time passes by so fast, before u know it the first holiday will come
  9. well, i think there are some streaotypes about american parents and rules like do u really have a curfew? And do they ground u and stuff? most parents here are pretty free about things, like even when i was 15 i never had to ask my parents if i could go somewhere and when i can come back. It was always like "Im going downtown, BYE!!" and i took some of their money and left lol :D
  10. that's 9th grade, right? why the sarcasm? not so happy about it?
  11. true :D i get paid for 4 hours of the day (or more) where i do nothing.. or be on the computer, which is something i do at home anyway however, i havent really had much of a life for the last couple of months because of this job it takes up most of my day, and then im too tired in the afternoon to go out and do anything else. Ill be glad when i could finally get up at 11 like im used to :D
  12. yea lol once i didnt wanna take the car because i wanted to drink (i always drink and drive in the limit that i can, and smoke a hookah which also makes u high for a few mins), so when i didnt take the car my mom asked me "Why??? Are u drinking?" and then my dad is like "NO! Of course not..." and im like "I dont wanna be driving him tired in the middle of the night" so that's what they think if i dont take the car :P and once i told them i drank, and i got the point after that one time, so they think i tried it and didnt like it... so yea, they are abit naive when it comes to me atleast that's what i think just that every time after i go out they ask where i sat and if we had some coffee, lol. And im always like "yea..."
  13. i help out in one of the departments the department of passports and document confimation so i help by renewing passports or cancelling them and in the document confirmation (where i am most) im answer the phone and answer ppl's questions about their documents and what they need to do. And i also confirm the documents, which means i stick a sticker on them and add 2 stamps. And sometimes i mail them too!!! haha well, it's a very technical job that a monkey could do but i help out, they like me there
  14. haha.. you're sweet but ill still be here work has just made me more addicted to this site are all in school?
  15. haha... i wonder if theyll do it to me sometime they're alot more naive about me than they are about my brother. Like when my bro goes out on friday nights they know he's drinking. With me, they think im going to a coffee shop and drinking coffee with my friends
  16. nope i just finished high school i just thought about it, and now that ill be out of work i wont be up so early in the morning, so i wont be able to talk to ppl from america as much however, if i stay up till the middle of the night i probably could (and it's usually what happens when im at home, i go to sleep late and get up late)
  17. well, i work at my mom's office. They hired me temporarily because i just finished high school, and i guess they let the kids that finished high school work here for a few weeks, like a nice gesture, for some extra money before we begin our lives :P anyway, i was suppose to finish working in 8.8 but then they offered that i stay until the end of august, so i agreed and this job just seems never ending :stunned: now they asked me if i wanna continue until sept 14th. And i just said "NO THANK YOU!!" i cant stand it here anymore... at least my mom is off work for a month, so ive had her office all to myself, which is nice because i sit here on the computer instead of being where im suppose to work
  18. im doing good :) this is my last day at work :D :D :D
  19. ^^:laugh3: lol... my parents are actually pretty open when it comes to sex in the way that they are, first of all, not naive... so when my brother and his girlfriend went to a cabin together they sorta figured what they were doing there :uhoh: and in the way that i dont think they're that embarassed. Like if we're watching a movie and there's sex i think im the one that's embarassed- my mom, not so much.... but is curious to know what she's thinking oh, and before my brother had a serious girlfriend i think i "overheard" (meaning eavesdropped) my mom talking with my bro, and she told him something about condoms and safe sex.... he must have been really embarassed....
  20. the time is 7:52am, and i arrived at work 10 mins ago and im gonna sit here for an hour before i go to where im really suppose to be :P i just like getting here early to sign in early, so i could go home early :P
  21. well, i know too many ppl who have tons and tons of friends, the problem is, when u have so many friends then never have good friends. I think the better situation is having less friends, but having them be really close... and then u just know other ppl so when u go out u meet them and say hi but never really have to sit through a night with ppl you dont even like, or know all that well. And in most cases im not even intrested in getting to know new ppl since im really happy with the friends i have and sqeezing in more just means i have to see my other friends less... it's just like what i have at work now. Im such a loner here, all the workers that are my age always eat lunch together, and at first i did too and i was very nice and didnt mind getting to know them. But after a couple of weeks i started to really cherish the friends i have and realised how good they are. My coworkers... well im just not intrested in getting to know them or sitting through lunch with them, and i dont have much patience for them, so id rather eat lunch in my mom's office in front of the computer i probably sound like a loner, and all the other ppl think im such a snob... but i dont give a fuck this is my last day at work anyway :P
