the first work i ever did for money was folding christmas cards, putting them in envelopes, sealing and addressing them, and putting stamps on them. i probably started doing that when i was 12 and i've been doing it every year since, for my mom's office. and like two years ago, i started filling in for the cleaning lady whenever she's gone on vacation.
recently i've started scanning files into the computer, and i actually got put on the payroll last week, so i count this as my first job. i work for accountants. i saw a coffee cup in the kitchen there that says "beware of accountants... they multiply" and i just shook my head.
