Hi, I thought some people on here may like WeVee or have already tried it? The site has loads of archive film dating back to 1901 that's free to watch or edit with the free mash-up editor. The archive film is really cool, there's all sorts of everyday stuff plus footage of Malcolm X's visit to Birmingham and clips of Sir Stanley Matthews last ever game for Stoke City. Their compact album, “End Times” is released on March 31st. Their first single ‘Malou’ has been played loads recently from Zane Lowe , Colin Murray,Steve Lamacq, as well as on XFM and 6music. They are also featured on a massive US ad campaign at the mo for Microsoft/Ford with the Strokes and Band of Horses. They’re from New York, but recently debuted their live show in the UK, and are about to embark on the Playboy “Rock The Rabbit” tour with Iggy Pop, Daft Punk, The Shins, etc. Well worth checking out….http://www.myspace.com/thebeastsofeden

Has anyone seen this new MP3 download site? It’s got loads on there and it’s all free to download with no DRM or anything either! They’re giving it away free as it’s got a cheeky advert at the beginning but it’s not as irritating as I first thought…

Are any of you into Roisin Murphy at all? Her new album ‘Overpowered’ is finally here! It’s been long awaited since her amazing solo debut ‘Ruby Blue’. The former leading lady of Moloko has co-written and co-produced the entire LP alongside the likes of Andy Cato from Groove Armada, Seiji from Bugz In The Attic, and sometime Sugababes knob-twiddler Richard X. The result is an album that mixes edgy pop and deep, dark electronic funk.
