there are Coldplay lyrics that are a work of art and others that only talk about dancing and being happy that the truth is that they have nothing artistic other than the rhythm.

Coldplay arrives with this album at the end of the era of the 80s vibe. Because if I remember correctly, the strokes started this with their album Angles, which stopped in the middle of this era due to the arrival of the funk daft punk album. But then I return to this vibe in a funk and electrosynth hybrid way. I would say that there is a time coming when music is not so inorganic and more than 70 when it comes to pop music. Examples: Dua lipa on her latest album. Taylor swift and his not so organic album, Bruno mars and his recent single. There is also a boom in independent artists, it is the case on Instagram that have that disco vibe. I'd say this 80s vibe is wearing off. Maybe Coldplay will come out on top of the wave.

Music of The Spheres, or Musica Universalis is an ancient philosophical concept originated by Pythagoras and his followers. It does not resonate sounds you hear every day, but an idea to represent the metaphysical and religious concept of the earth’s relationship to other planets, so “that the divine and poetic order of the universe could be known.” The Musiza Universalis would have later attributed a fundamental base to the connection between music, mathematics, and astronomy. Its idea fascinated all intellectuals in different fields, notably Stephen Hawking’s modern String Theory as “theory of everything” to the universe.

Blindint Lights is a cheap copy of take on. Even the riff is very the same.

Totally agree. It's probably a hit but it's a death knife to Coldplay rock

Only a Jony Boy guitar solo can save this song that doesn't add anything new to the music. It will only pretend to be a commercial success and nothing more.

Track 02 - Higher Power | Music of the Spheres
it is a pity that they have not innovated. They chose to draw on the successes of the past.
