  1. Here's my order of preference: Corbjin, itunes commercial, Hype Williams. The Corbjin one is funny though it kinda reminds me of the Burger King commercial. The Hype Williams one is pretty "meh," and I thought he was known mostly for doing rap/r&b videos. It's like someone's photoshop project. The only good part about it is that Chris gets to do some of his goofy dance moves. I don't feel it fits the song at all, it should be more epic.
  2. Jk, I wouldn't do it. :laugh3: I think anything above the waist and below the neck would be okay. I think my sister touched his jacket during the MOD show in Toronto.
  3. That video is so LOL, like during the Today when someone threw panties right at his hands. I wonder if Gwyneth was there if she would go bitchy like Faith Hill, when a fan grabbed Tim McGraw's junk. I couldn't invade someone's private space like that, a high five is enough. The most I would go for is an ass grab.
  4. Anyone else going through Coldplay withdrawal, so sad we have to wait until October.
  5. The chair is cool, it's actually 6 pieces that is snapped together and made with some wood-plastic composite. His other furniture is stuff I like too, my kind of modern. There's another picture of Chris in this pdf on the page 26, he looks different in this photo and not like our Chris at all.
  6. I have the slowest internet at home so I haven't been able to upload any vids. I took half of "Yes" and all of "42." But the sound on "42" is like faster than the images for some reason.
  7. Can we post pictures of all these other Chris Martins?
  8. I'm sure people on here have talked about it before, but this year's Ikea catalog has a bigger photo of their designer, Chris Martin. Page 109 of the US version. He looks a little like Chris, like his dweeby brother. He also needs to cut some holes in the underarms of his jacket. But that Ellan chair is pretty darn cool. Link to Ikea US catalog(flash req'd) link to the other furniture he has designed for Ikea.
  9. Wow, that's pretty cool. Not that I would purposefully buy nosebleed tickets in hopes of that.
  10. I wish I went to Boston too. 83 more days is 82 days too much. I just have The Police at MSG to look forward.
  11. link to the rest of the photos I took my shots from Section 104 Rows D & E, which were the best seats I've had so far for a Coldplay concert. The left stage was right in front of us. I would have taken more nice shots if there weren't a bunch of kids high on E acting nuts in front of me and if I put the camera on a more appropriate setting. Like they need to make a "concert" mode for the camera. I thought the concert was comparable to other Coldplay concerts I've been to, Hartford is my sixth time. Though I did enjoy the last concert tour a lot more. Hard to pick my favorite song of the night, I did pretty much freak out when Chris and Will came over towards my side. Too bad the other band members didn't come over, they do the right side a lot more. It was all good. Chris sounded sick during "Hardest Part," don't know if I'm the only one who thought that. The techno version of "GPASUYF" was unexpected and pretty cool. I thought that whole Bill O'Reilly thing was stupid and unnecessary, though I hate his guts too. Santogold was fine, her dancers ruined the whole set. Everyone just knocked on them. I think I saw Santogold outside her bus after the show, but no one even walked up to her.
  12. Everyone already wrote reviews. The people in my section just made fun of Santogold's dancers, which I did agree with them were terrible and for me marred the music. The music wasn't bad, just the presentation. I saw Santogold outside her tour bus after the concert, everyone was obviously waiting for Coldplay to come out but no one even noticed it was her. Not that I said hi or anything. Yeah, Square One was great. Oh yeah, I forgot. Those ahole security guards wouldn't let me go down to get confetti. What's up with that. I'm going to upload 2 videos I took and whatever non-blurry photos I have when I get home tonight.
  13. I am planning on bringing a baggie to take some butterfly confetti home. That's a free souvenir. I think programs are like $20.
  14. They have been $40 since the first Coldplay concert I went to in like 02-03. But the ones for this tour doesn't look that nice.
  15. Actually, the best Coldplay concerts I've been to I went by myself. 1 MSG and 1 Nassau. The one time I took a friend, she didn't even like it that much which just kinda made me mad. Pros: You can act as kooky as you want w/o worrying when you are by yourself. You can get better seats.
  16. Yeah, this is my 6th Coldplay concert but the first time seeing any concert at XL Center. The closest I've got to Coldplay during a concert was when Chris ran up during the "In My Place" and was like 5 rows from me.
  17. Yay, tomorrow. Any ideas on how to get the set list or see where they come out after the concert there? I don't know the layout there. Anyone here making signs so we can coordinate?
  18. Yay, 2 days. I'm so jealous my sister already saw them in Toronto and is seeing them again today at a TV interview. Is there anything to do in Hartford to make it worthwhile to stay overnight?
  19. 6 DAYS!!! Yay! Is anyone from here making signs? And if so, what are they supposed to look like?
