  1. I'm at work, still on my Coldplay high even though it was a quite a trek to get home last night. A few notes: Guy's jeans are so friggin tight :laugh3: and I thought they didn't play the Escapist and ended at Yellow last night.
  2. I think Pete would be a little too shy for that, it'll make him blush. :laugh3: But yeah, he's a cutie. Shh, I didn't tell them I am a Coldplayer.
  3. CookyMnstr I saw your signs, my friend said I was stalking the stalkers. Lol. More photos later and if I can figure how to upload the video. The right runway stage set.
  4. I saw a girl carrying a oaktag poster yesterday, I don't think it should be a problem. I got this sign into my FOTC concert at Town Hall, the place that wouldn't allow any form of picture taking. So I want to give you the luck of the hot dog.
  5. I like to post a picture up of my afternoon delivery Fed Ex guy otherwise known as "Afternoon Delight" but I don't think it would be work appropriate to do that. And he would probably be skeeved out.
  6. Thanks so funny, I think me and the other 2 oxfam volunteers I was hanging out with ended up with those tickets. The other girl I was with, Diana, says that Garth Brooks does something similar and gives a pick-up truck to a lucky fan too. I'm so glad that some of the lucky fans shared their experiences here.
  7. Yes, it is a good time. So you should definitely see if you can volunteer.
  8. Obama better win. I think being a neocon is way worse than being a socialist.
  9. I have an Archos 605 160gb, it's kinda like an iphone with the phone part. I think iTunes is a terrible program so this one is just drag and drop. But it is a little bulky, I use it for playing downloaded vidoes on the tv with the dock accessory and road trips. It also has wifi if I ever want to go use the internet somewhere with it. I also won a 4gb Zune but I'm waiting for that to get here.
  10. I hope I get a Phil sighting tonight, I finally got tickets on the right side of the stage.
  11. I saw a lot of people having cameras. Just don't bring a gigantic camera.
  12. That's crazy. My friend got last minute nose bleed seats at 409, I've been to an Islanders game but this was a lot different. Though this is still only my second hockey game live. The NY fans are vicious, lol. I can't believe that take out the goalie play actually worked and it ended in shootout.
  13. I have something called a "job" to get through today. If there were not enough copies, I would "use" my office's copier.
  14. I couldn't go to sleep last night, hence the writing. But I had a good sleep last night and will be ready for tonight. I'm just worried my hearing will go from two days straight of loudness, Rangers game on Sat and Coldplay round 1.
  15. Can't believe the upgrades were given to people here, that's incredibly awesome Though I'm insanely jealous too. I volunteered with Oxfam tonight so I arrived at 530pm. But the Izod Center is a mess, they almost wouldn't let us park our car b/c of the Jets game. The security people didn't know to leave one door open for people to go in and everyone(including venue staff) were bitching about that. We saw Pete around 5:40pm and then met up with the rest of the volunteers. There were like ~13 volunteers tonight. Our job was to get people to sign up for the Oxfam e-mail list, we did it from 7pm-9pm. I thought it was going to be easier but people are surprisingly apprehensive about signing up for stuff. Maybe it's that NYC area people mentality. But most people were at least nice about not signing up. Except for that one guy who told one of the other volunteers that he lives for injustice. wth. As for the show, Pete had various tickets. He says he gets them from from the production crew. I got a nosebleed section one, but I upgraded myself to a 2nd row 200 level for the second half of the concert. The place being packed made upgrading earlier in the show kinda hard. I'm sorry to say this, but the fans in the nosebleed section were pretty dead. The view was still decent, and they still sounded great. I was so excited that "The Hardest Part" was played in full, not like the last time in CT. Chris made some jokes about drainage problems in Ohio since all the Joe the Plumbers were busy. I got up for a break when the guys ran into the crowd, but positioned myself pretty close to them after I got back and had a very good view of them. The second half of the concert was great, I finally was in a more happening section and they were a lot more into it. I got more into it and the place went nuts during Yellow. And then it was over. :-( Sorry I have no pictures to post, wasn't really in the best positions. I'll be back there tomorrow and I'll be ready. Please also, if any of you have not signed up on the Oxfam email list please do so with one of the volunteers around the arena or at one of the 2 tables.
  16. It's TONIGHT!!!! I'll be working with Oxfam tonight if anyone wants to sign up or say hi, I'm the tiny Asian girl.
  17. saw this listed on Gawker Stalker: Jay Z & Beyonce: 311 W 34th St Oct 22nd, 2008 @ 8pm Saw Jay-Z and Beyonce hanging out at the Coldplay in Hammerstein Ballroom last night. Jigga was wearing his trademark sunglasses, while Beyonce was looking beautiful as usual. Both seemed to enjoy the concert from their 2nd tier balcony overlooking the stage.
  18. I never got beer spilled on me, just around me. At the end of the CT concert, the place was a kiddie pool of beer. During the MSG concert, I stood up on a chair on floor and this girl next to me accidentally pulled me down. As for clothing, for the girls I recommend not wearing anything where your sweater puppies can pop out of from jumping in excitement. No uncomfortable heels either.
  19. I don't think I can make it out to NYC early enough to catch them going in or out. Hammerstein Ballroom ground level seats 2500 at most. I don't think they would run out of space. At least I'm seeing them 2 nights in a row again. I also got tickets to a private John Legend show on the 10/28 but I think I'm going to be too concert overload to go.
  20. Thanks sol5rac, sorry for the raging. :-( I''ll keep my raging to Yahoo Live Sets. But at least we know it's at the Hammerstein Ballroom. That place can hold a lot more than 500 people. Backup plan: Anyone going to stand outside and begged to be let in?
  21. I got my response email at 9/22 at 9:30am. This is a freaking joke. I like to see this email posted on the board before I believe it.
  22. We are never going to give them up. Where's the fricking e-mail?
  23. NO EMAIL, this pic can only entertain me for so long: It's a sign: Coldplay on both "Ugly Betty"(Lost) and "CSI"(42).
