There doesn't have to be a meaning. You're right about that. I mean, in order to live, we don't have to feel that way. But I mean that there must be meaning in the same way that in reality there is existence and function. Not that life has to be meaningful for the individual, but that it is necessitated by the function of existence. I wouldn't think God would get "kicks" from anything.

this is the opposite of what i thought you were going to say. usually if someone says "boys suck" it is because guys just want a few things, but I'm not sure most guys are like that person you're describing. What I hear from a lot of guys is that they don't want that. It's better to break up right away than go through the pain of everything or to go back. Very few I know are like you described.
