well, I disagree with the first statement but there's no point in me arguing with you because it's just a difference in opinion. However, I never said they should change because I want them to, but because logically it seems they look foolish. The second statement doesn't make sense because changing the world is done by speaking out.

so the only point you have here is that I can't change the world and it's not worth trying.

because from what we see they look like they're making fools of themselves. If your friend wore pink fuzz and bunny ears every day to school and people made fun of them, wouldn't it seem they're making a fool of themself? that's how we feel, but it's mostly the way they act and the music they listen to, it's more about their overly dramatic lifestyle.

nooooooo it's not the self centeredness and all that which makes them emo, it's the emoness which happens to be associated with the self centeredness from what I've seen before. but really I think it's the teenage highschoolness which does it more than anything. It's a lopsided equasion, it only goes one way.

it's not well dressed people, it's people who pose. it's not about their clothes, it's about their personalities. the emo people I know are self centered generally and moody... there are probably a lot of nice emo people. but the majority or at least the most noticeable ones are like that.

my brother is emo. I love my brother soo much... but what he does to me just makes him look dumb and it's saddening. maybe I wish they would wake up .... but if they like it...... good for them.......
