I've never been to England.....if only I had money......this summer I would have gone to see my two favorite bands U2 and Coldplay in Ireland and England....grr...... and I sent a request to add you to myspace! :)

well perhaps that has to do with the fact that it's 12 pm here on the West Coast and around 8(?) where you are? :)

Hey, I'm from Southern California, but now I now attend the University of California at Santa Barbara...one of the top party schools in the nation.....BUT....since I don't drink or party at all......I figure, might as well make productive use of my time.. ....since this is very productive :)

I can play a bit of Speed of Sound on the guitar.... grr, I wish I wasn't so short of patience and would sit down and do other songs, but unfortunately, I get frustrated easily

Has it really been confirmed yet? I've been going on U2 message boards and there's just speculation that it either will or won't go into 2006. Any info you have that you're not telling us? :) or just a gut feeling?

The Cranberries......lol, 'Dreams' that's a good song I think a lot of the time, most of us, I include myself in that, tend to say 'we don't like this, etc, etc' and many times it's because we don't give it a chance and tend to judge a band on X amount of songs that we've heard and didn't like and thus pass judgement, when in reality there are a lot of songs that are worth a listen... much like a casual fan that hears The Scientist on the radio and immediately assumes Coldplay is very slow and soft rock type music

I don't see much resemblance to a rabbit in terms of Jonny.....maybe I need to get a new prescription for my glasses

no worries......to each their own......I guess U2 is like my first love, musically speaking...you move forward, but you never forget it....and in no way was I trying to say that U2 are better or worse than Coldplay.....just different.....give me Beautiful Day or Clocks.....Fix You or With Or Without You.....and I'm just as happy.... in regards to concerts...it's obvious one's been touring for quite some time more than the other....and have different types of shows.....which is why I constantly vacillate between the two.....but let's make this clear: I DO LOVE COLDPLAY! and I do have the mp3 of Sweetest Thing.....both the Single Mix and Original but aren't U2 sort of boring? ;) :lol:

haha......too funny maybe, just maybe that night, Bono will be off-key for some reason and I'll say.....'wow, U2 doesn't even begin to compare to Coldplay, what was I THINKING!' and then be upset......because I didn't catch two Coldplay shows.... ;)

well the next one I'm going to 'create' is Johnny.......here's what it will look like w/o the clothing, etc... then Guy........which for some reason, I like this badger....=) and last but not least...Will.......as a chipmunk... and around 60 bucks later, and various minutes/hours.....I shall have my own little Coldplay menagerie.....I'm serious....I need to get out some more....but I think you all will like :) :lol:

The SD concert Politik lyrics consisted of: "Give me Freedom if you can, give me Will Ferrell in Anchorman give me time and let me go stay classy San Diego" obious Will Ferrell/Anchorman reference..... :lol: and I believe Freedom is the name of the women's soccer team in the area, but I'm not too sure

"The World Turned Upside Down" reminds me a lot of U2 for some strange reason......which isn't always bad. It's especially similar for some reason to their B-Side for Beautiful Day "Always"......which in turn was the 'original' Beautiful Day......just like this one could have been the original X&Y

" I can COMPLETELY relate to this one....now call me blasphemous but U2 is still my favorite band.....and after the Coldplay show, I was thinking......this is so much better than the U2 concert.....then I keep going back and forth...Staples Center November 1st, will be verdict time to decide once and for all who is best!

which member are you dressing your bear as? Chris? sometimes my Coldplay devotion/obessesion scares me

^ is actually my goal...... A part of me wants to use just guinea pigs for the other three.....but then again, I also wish to use different animals....anyone have suggestions for what other animals could possibly be 'right' for Will, Jonny and Guy? Chris' piano is almost done, it's nothing too fancy......needs a coat of black paint, two green stripes on the back, and MTF on the side and it'll be set!.... Glad everyone likes him...=)

okay, so being a college kid does have it's strange oddities.....today my friend Mallorie and I decided we'd transform my stuffed animal guinea pig Chris into.....well, his namesake, Chris Martin. Here are the pictures: and yes....he's a hit with all the ladies, just like Mr. Martin, lol. We are in the process of building him a little piano and of course, it shall have the MTF letters on the side. A quick question, what animals would you suggest to use for Guy, Jon, and Will? I mean, it might be lame, but I started, might as well finish it off....Any help would be appreciated! Thanks and I'll take other pictures with the piano....
