  5. It has been leaked in the media today that Oasis are set to bag the Best Live Act at the Brits, but with voting not closing until the 29th Jan there is still time for us to make a difference and let Coldplay win this deserved gong. Plus lots of votes are required for Coldplay to walk away with the Best Single if you take into consideration the size of the respective fan bases of James Blunt and Shayne Ward. There is a distinct possibility that Coldplay may leave empty handed with the other categories being decided by a panel of experts and with competition from Blunt, Kaiser Chiefs, and Gorillaz etc. Therefore it is our duty to get voting and spread the word in order to ensure that Coldplay rightly sweep the board at the Brits 2006. http://brits.co.uk/brits06/

  16. Beck - Girl I saw her, yea I saw her With a black tongue tied round the roses A fist pounding on a vending machine Toy diamond ring stuck on her finger With a noose she could hang from the sun And PUT it out with the dark sunglasses Walking crooked down the beach She spits in the sand Where their bones are bleaching And I know I'm gonna steal her eye She doesn't even know it's wrong And you know I'm gonna make her die Take her where her soul belongs Know I'm gonna steal her eye Nothing that I wouldn't try Hey, my sun-eyed girl Hey, my sun-eyed girl My sun-eyed girl Hey, my sun-eyed girl I saw her, yea I saw her With her hands tied back Her black suburban Calling out from a landfilled life Scrawling her name up on the ceiling Throw a coin in the fountain of dust White noise, her ears are ringing Got a ticket for my midnight hanging Throw a bullet from a freight train leaving And I know I'm gonna steal her eye She doesn't even know it's wrong And you know I'm gonna make her die Take her where her soul belongs Know I'm gonna steal her eye Nothing that I wouldn't try Hey, my sun-eyed girl Hey, my sun-eyed girl My sun-eyed girl Hey, my sun-eyed girl Hey, my sun-eyed girl Hey, my sun-eyed girl My sun-eyed girl Hey, my sun-eyed girl Hey, my sun-eyed girl Hey, my sun-eyed girl My sun-eyed girl Hey, my sun-eyed girl
  17. Train - Drops of Jupiter Now that she's back in the atmosphere With drops of Jupiter in her hair, hey, hey She acts like summer and walks like rain Reminds me that there's time to change, hey, hey Since the return from her stay on the moon She listens like spring and she talks like June, hey, hey Tell me did you sail across the sun Did you make it to the Milky Way to see the lights all faded And that heaven is overrated Tell me, did you fall for a shooting star One without a permanent scar And did you miss me while you were looking at yourself out there Now that she's back from that soul vacation Tracing her way through the constellation, hey, hey She checks out Mozart while she does tae-bo Reminds me that there's time to grow, hey, hey Now that she's back in the atmosphere I'm afraid that she might think of me as plain ol' Jane Told a story about a man who is too afraid to fly so he never did land Tell me did the wind sweep you off your feet Did you finally get the chance to dance along the light of day And head back to the Milky Way And tell me, did Venus blow your mind Was it everything you wanted to find And did you miss me while you were looking for yourself out there Can you imagine no love, pride, deep-fried chicken Your best friend always sticking up for you even when I know you're wrong Can you imagine no first dance, freeze dried romance five-hour phone conversation The best soy latte that you ever had . . . and me Tell me did the wind sweep you off your feet Did you finally get the chance to dance along the light of day And head back toward the Milky Way (Repeat 1st Chorus)
