I'll probably go for the Halls of Residence because I've been told there're loads of Erasmus students over there, so it might be easier to get to know other people this way. I expected this to happen to you. This is the sort of things that usually come about when you have a crush on someone. You can't keep on having these doubts, though. You'd better know the truth, even if it's not what you want to hear. I guess that when you say he's acting strange means that he doesn't seem to want to go out/talk to you/etc as much as he used to, so something must have led him to change his behaviour towards you. It could be that girl, who knows? But you'd better know what is *really* happening to him as soon as possible. I don't think he'd have treated you well if he had hidden this from you. I do hope that everything will turn out well in the end, that this is something which is anymore important. But yeah, try to make an appointment with him and TALK. That's what you both need to do.

oh, god, this is horrible! I can imagine how bad you feel (even if I have never gone through this situation). Some time ago I read the posts you made in a thread in which you talked about your relationship with him and it was so damn obvious you had put many expectations on him because he was such an amazing mate and someone with who you got on like a house on fire. If I were you I'd try to do my best to keep in touch with him, don't let this distance that you mentioned to increase. And you should try to talk to him about the fact that he's dating with this other girl. You're good friends, aren't you? So I reckon you should know whether he's with her or not. And if he tried to hide this from you, I suppose it would mean something, right?
