1. Big Boots unreleased This song had the destiny to become their best song. Sadly, they never managed to record it, doesn't matter how many times they tried it. And likely they'll never try it again... Debuted back in '95. Originally, planned as a b-side to one of the singles from The Bends, then dropped. Last live appearance was in August 2002... at the legendary request concert in Salamanca. Big Boots aka Man-O-War is their best non-album track. Drift all you like From ocean to ocean Search the whole world Drunken confessions And hijacked affairs Just make you more alone If you come home I'll bake you a cake Made of velvet eyes I wish you could see me Just when I kill You're my man-o-war You're my man-o-war And the worms will eat you whole My love So unplug your phone Stop all the chatter Iit all comes flooding back From poisoned clouds To poison the world You're my man-o-war You're my man-o-war And the worms will eat you whole And the worms will eat you whole My love http://youtube.com/watch?v=QDhKICAm0OY

2. Kinetic appears on: Pyramid Song The most underrated Radiohead song of all. I don't really pay attention to the lyrics. The sound is what Kinetic about. It can't get better than this. Kinetic provides you the all major influences of Kid A/Amnesiac era (Aphex Twin, Miles Davis, Can etc.) in one single song. Masterpiece. Their best b-side. You're being took for a ride Plan on it, lazy Please keep moving Better keep moving Don't fall asleep at the wheel I waited for you but you never came Please keep moving Better keep moving Kinetic {x45} Please keep moving Better keep moving

yes, TLW is actually there... 3. True Love Waits appears on: I Might Be Wrong: Live Recordings This is the best Radiohead song about love. Period. I'll drown my beliefs to have you be in peace iI'll dress like your niece and wash your swollen feet just don't leave don't leave and true love waits in haunted attics and true love lives on lollipops and crisps just don't leave don't leave i'm not living, i'm just killing time your tiny hands, your crazy-kitten smile just don't leave don't leave http://youtube.com/watch?v=2A7lRFn8iFA

4. Nude unreleased First of all i'd like to point out that i'm talking about the older version of Nude which comes from '98. Also sometimes titled as Big Ideas. The song has been recycled since then and converted to a jazzy song, but it can't beat the old Nude imo (the new version isn't bad either though). This song was my favourite for a long time. Don't get any big ideas They're not gonna happen You paint your house white and fill in the noise There'll be something missing Just when you find it it's gone Just when you feel it, you don't You've gone off the rails She kisses you with tongues and pulls you to the bed Don't go you'll only want to come back again So don't get any big ideas They're not gonna happen You'll go to hell for what your dirty mind is thinking And now that you find it, it's gone And now that you feel it, you don't You've gone off the rails http://youtube.com/watch?v=rG4ItJINzQs

5. How I Made My Millions appears on: No Surprises Actually, this isn't even a song. It's a demo. Thom recorded it at home with his minidisc recorder (you can hear Thom's girlfriend washing up in the background). The band was blown away when they heard the song, so they decided to leave it as it is. Amazing demo song! I was stronger I was better Picked you out Now don't say a word No don't yell out Never mind Let you out Led you back Stay on Sit down Let it fall Let it fall Let it fall Let it fall http://youtube.com/watch?v=n10JC0BOWF8

6. Last Flowers unreleased Another song that was dropped from OKC. This song has only been played once so far (seek below for the YT video). None the less it quickly became one of the fan favourites. Dark and melancholy. And apparently this song was written at 3 AM. If they'll never release Last Flowers it will be a crime against every Radiohead fan. This song should be the best on LP7. P.S. actually this song should have made my top 3... oh well appliances have gone berserk I cannot keep up treading on people's toes snot-nosed little fools and I can't face the evening straight and you can offer me escape houses live and houses speak if you take me there you'll get relief believe, believe, believe, believe... and if I’m gonna talk I just wanna talk please don't interrupt just sit back and listen 'cause I can't face the evening straight and you can offer me escape houses live and houses speak if you take me there you'll get relief believe, believe, believe, believe... it's too much too bright too powerful too much too bright too powerful too much too bright too powerful too much http://youtube.com/watch?v=OtVjjZDDIAs

7. Rabbit In Your Headlights appears on: Psyence Fiction (UNKLE) The best collaboration Radiohead have ever done, i mean Thom. As said by Pitchfork: "...Thom Yorke adds his trademark angstful melancholy to the amazing and theatrical "Rabbit In Your Headlights," a song which contains one of the most heartbreaking vocal samples in the history of music.". That statement is so true that i couldn't have written this better myself. I think it's not an easy song to like, but once you're into it, you'll never regret it. I guess, this song was my intro into the world of electronical music. I'm a rabbit in your headlights Scared of the spotlight You don't come to visit I'm stuck in this bed Thin rubber gloves She laughs when she's crying She cries when she's laughing Fat bloody fingers are sucking your soul away... (Away....away....away....) I'm a rabbit in your headlights Christian suburbanite Washed down the toliet Money to burn Fat bloody fingers are sucking your soul away... Sample from movie Jacob's Ladder : If you're frightened of dyin' and you're holding on... You'll see devils tearing your life away. But...if you've made your peace, Then the devils are really angels Freeing you from the earth.....from the earth....from the earth White worms on the underground Caught between stations Butterfingers I'm losing my patience I'm a rabbit in your headlights Christian suburbanite You got money to burn.... Fat bloody fingers are sucking your soul away..... Away, away, away, Away, away, away. http://youtube.com/watch?v=Z3ClCwcCvdQ

8. A Reminder appears on: Karma Police and Airbag/How Am I Driving? This is a very sad love song about a broken relationship. Beatiful, though strange. If I get old I will not give in But if I do Remind me of this Remind me that Once I was free Once I was cool Once I was me And if I sat down and crossed my arms Hold me until this song Knock me out Smash out my brains If I take the chair and start to talk shit If I get old remind me of this That night we kissed and I really meant it Whatever happens if we're still speaking Pick up the phone Play me this song

9. Arpeggi unreleased Should be a highlight on the new album. This song is great in every way: as a slow classical composition and as a fast guitar-based song. Close to masterpiece, but it's not recorded yet, so i'll wait with that statement... in the deepest ocean the bottom of the sea your eyes, they turn me why should I stay here why should I stay I'd be crazy not to follow follow where you lead your eyes, they turn me turn me onto phantoms I follow to the edge of the earth and fall off everybody leaves if they get the chance and this is my chance I get eaten by the worms and weird fishees picked over by the worms and weird fishees weird fishees weird fishees yeah I I hit the bottom hit the bottom and escape escape I I hit the bottom hit the bottom and escape escape escape "Arpeggi" http://youtube.com/watch?v=zrKPrpOvfCI

Gun laws
i doubt he'd have killed 32 people with a knife or a sword. not impossible, but very unlikely. gun is a different issue true. but that is unpredictable. i mean, no-one can tell at the first sight who's sick as he was, and who's not

Gun laws
Canada is no.5 at homicides, suicides ranking among industrialised countries US being 1st http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/figures/00001168.gif

Gun laws
having a gun raises the possibilty of a crime
-
Gun laws
this won't happen. that's why we need the law. the law is the only thing that can keep human beings between limits. we'd be animals, otherwise. stating that Virginia's gun law didn't play any role in this is bullshit. if the laws weren't so lax there, this accident might have never happened. not likely, but there's still a possibility. i personally can't imagine myself organising (getting a gun, bullet vest etc.) such an event here, in my country. the law doesn't allow it. that's the point social problems do play a role as well, but that guy wasn't the only one who had them. with the gun laws they have now, the odds that a similar event can happen there is higher than in the states/countries where the gun laws are much stricter ;)
-
Gun laws
lol what will solve the problems then? maybe. it would reduce his possibilities to get a gun (in normal case) maybe not. it's too late to ban anything. he'd get a gun anyway. in the US it's not hard. that country's been messed up since "i've no idea when" anyway

10. Nobody Does It Better (Carly Simon cover) unreleased 99% of covers are worse than the original version. Nobody Does It Better belongs to 1% that is better. Thom's voice around '95 was perfect. P.S. Announced by Thom as "The sexiest song ever written.". Absolute killer. Seeeexy. Nobody does it better Makes me feel sad for the rest Nobody does it half as good as you Baby, you're the best I wasn't looking But somehow you found me I tried to hide from your love light But like heaven above me The spy who loved me Is keeping all my secrets safe tonight And nobody does it better Though sometimes i wish someone would Nobody does it quite the way you do Why'd you have to be so good The way that you hold me Whenever you hold me There's some kind of magic inside That keeps me from running But just keep it coming how'd you learn to do the things you do And nobody does it better Makes me feel sad for the rest Nobody does it quite like as you Baby, baby, baby you're the best Baby you're the best Baby you're the best Baby you're the best "Nobody Does It Better" http://youtube.com/watch?v=kHe-iwAI9BE

11. Permanent Daylight appears on: My Iron Lung EP Originally debuted as instrumental in '93. "Sonic Youth tribute" as said by the band. The song is about fear of reality in my opinion. I can't really interpret it further though, just feel like it is. Confusing as hell. The easiest way to sleep at night is to carry on believing that I don't exist The easiest way to sell your soul is to carry on believing that we don't exist It must be hard With your head on backwards
