ahhh. it was a commercial song with common lyrics, nothing special, made for "empty brained people who are too lazy to see the things how are they really are"... and thank this song Green Day became famous...again

i do think all these war songs inspire young americans to go to war...sad because they shouldn't fight for this president

haha yes the poor swiss teenagers are obsessed with Green Day, some rap or classic rock like Doors or Led Zeppelin. though the last 2 are fair bands, but still...

haha i think so i don't really know David Gray so can't really make a point. i think you know that the worst part of living in Europe (UK doesn't count in this case) that you can't get the brittish commercialy unpopular music here. all the commercial channels here show Blunt, U2, Coldplay and some american r'n'b stuff...so i'm not surprised that no one (!!!!!!!) in my class know Sigur Ros, Elliott Smith or even Radiohead...sad sad sad

exactly Faceman, i thought he will be the one who will rescue Brit Pop...haha hell no. his songs have the same melodies. how can people say that Radiohead are depressing when we have James Blunt??? mehhhh

haha exactly that's why i really hate this song now...though this song inspired me to buy his album, but as i said i was disappointed. now i don't really know where is it haha somewhere in the garbage i think...

i think we had these kinds of threads before and most of them ended that no one was right...some people believe in Jesus, God, The Bible (like me) and some not. you can't change people's views on it. all the religious themes will end in this way

yeah...i have to agree. though X&Y was a bit confusing :confused: SOS sounds like Clocks, THP like most of REM songs etc...where's the originality? to be honest i missed that lovely melody from X&Y, i think that's why it's my least favourite Coldplay album
