Just got home from getting U2 tickets...it was insanity... People were waiting since saturday night!!! :stunned: :stunned: :stunned: Ah well...my tickets are sitting nicely next to my Coldplay tickets.

$99 all the way up to $199 I think. But standing tickets are $99. :D :D :D

OT: Anyone going to U2 concert? Dates announced today. Tickets will go on general sale on Monday December 5th. Tuesday March 21 Brisbane Queensland Sports & Athletics Centre Friday March 24 Melbourne Telstra Dome Tuesday March 28 Adelaide AAMI Stadium Friday March 31 Sydney Telstra Stadium I, for one, will be at the Telstra Dome concert!

Why is everyone so rich! I can only afford Coldplay & Green Day...Saving up for U2's announcement though!

We went to the place coz we didn't have a credit card 1st show sold out in 1/2 hour 2nd show only had the back of the stadium tickets...not worth it then they released more...I dont get how ticketek works

I found it on the internet somewhere...and it was perfect for displaying what ticketek is doing to me. Autobarn is doing the same...goddamn seat covers needs 2 weeks to order in and I need $100 deposit :angry: It's a fake for sure..sorry for scaring everyone :worried: :wink:

The Joshua Tree IS good...but Achtung Baby is much much better. Maybe I like experimental music more (and thus loving Pink Floyd) OK Computer is a good album.

Give Ticketek (or Ticketmaster if you're in Sydney) a call. There's no point waiting til it's too late. They've had plenty of time to give tickets out. :angry: Stupid Ticketek...ruin everyone's experience

Going to the 2nd Melbourne show (Sunday night) Can't wait! Long story of how I got tickets. Went at around 1PM on the Monday it was released and it was 'sold out' as Ticketek told me. Then on Wednesday night someone told me they just got tickets. :/ Went the next day as Ticketek opened- 9AM. The guy told me the same story. All sold out. Got home, very pissed off, so I checked online. They told me they had tickets. Hitched a ride off a mate and finally, on my third try: THREE STANDING TICKETS!!! :D :D :D Long story short: I love Coldplay, I hate Ticketek. (Never had a problem with Ticketmaster)

Sorry about such a stupid question, I haven't been following the Coldplay tour much. Is there much of a difference between the $120 'Gold' tickets and the $80 'Silver Tickets'? If anyone has the layout of the arena, please post it. Thanks and see you in Melbourne!
