Fix You was my favorite initially, but it soon fell behind some others. But all my favorites change, so it will eventually rise again. :D The thing about Fix You is that it is so much more powerful if you are in a situation where it applies to you or someone you love. Also, the first time I ever heard it, it gave me chills. That is pretty telling. :)

I never have any idea unless I hear it from the actual band, but I think that The Scientist is about a love lost by death or some irreversible thing. If the video is any indication, it is someone who wishes to rewind time and have a chance to get back "to the start". The first verse kind of implies that there were words unsaid, feelings left in the dark, maybe he took the person for granted and wishes now to get a second chance to say everything. Those are probably obvious interpretations, but somebody needed to say them. :D

I saw Ralph Fiennes on Jay Leno the other night and he was promoting a movie that looked very interesting. But...I didn't catch the name of it. I think the movie is based in Shanghai and he plays a man who is blind. I'm not sure of much else because I obviously wasn't catching anything that night. Hope someone knows it! :) :D
