  1. Salut Ophelie! :) Je te souhaite beaucoup de la chance! (J'espère que la phrase était correct ^^)
  2. Mark, you're sure? ^^ Hm, ok I will try to think of you when it's 10am. :) But I think the time is ok, not too early and not too late.
  3. Indeed! ;) But I think that question about Beckham was only the 500€ question. Ophelie, I'm sure you'll make it. When do you have your exam tomorrow?
  4. :P No, Völler did the right choice.! I liked C! ^^ The questions are soo easy. It's a World Cup special. :) Good luck Ophelie! That sounds difficult, is it?
  5. :P What's the name of David and Victoria Beckham's baby? A: Hydepark B: Brooklyn C: Kitchentable ... :wink3:
  6. Haha "Who wants to be a millionaire" is so funny... Rudi Völler is sitting on the chair and there was a funny question about David and Victoria Beckham, regarding the name of their baby! :D :nice:
  7. Mark! :P Welcome back Ophelie!
  8. Thx Therese! :nice: Hope you'll find a good desicion in 6 month as well. :) Mark, yes it was interesting, but I always want to know something about Germany before the 19th century. ^^
  9. Yes, it really depends on your teachers. I liked French until the 11th class. But then I got a lady who was so stupid, so I quit it one year later. :( Hm, I never heard of it but it sounds interesting. ;) Mark I also liked history, although we learnt more about American and British history than German. ;)
  10. I mean the subjects... ;)
  11. Thank you! You're right, the experience of living in another country would be amazing, but it's true, money is the problem. I still really don't know what to study. At school I always liked languages (English, French, Spanish, Italian) and geography. Maybe (or perhaps :P) I could combine both. That would be great! ;) But luckily I still have some time to think and to look for it. :) What did you like at school?
  12.   Bye Steph! :) Therese, both sounds good! :) Hm, I'm working since August, because one year ago I didn't know what to study and I also had to earn some money for university. (Thank you Mrs Merkel!!! :veryangry:) Later I'll definately study and I still have some time to decide... :) I really want to go to Hamburg, Berlin or London, but London is sooo expensive. I don't have enough money for it and I think it's not very easy studying in another country with another language. My English is actually not good enough, though.
  13. The university in Lund is very big, that's true! He showed me some pictures. :) What about you? Do you want to study in Lund? Hehe, Mark! My English teachers always told me that the American English is bad and wrong! By the way... when do you use "maybe" and "perhaps"? I don't hear that "perhaps" very often...
  14. Therese, he's going to Lund, it's near Malmö. He'll visit his sister who study there. :) Do you know it? Mark, luckily we always learnt British English. ;) Nabend Flo!
  15. That sounds great Mark, I'm impressed! I never had a British teacher, only an American who tought English. :nice:
  16. Are your students clever Mark? :) Are you working in a "Gymnasium" or "Realschule"? Hello Therese! :nice: Next weekend my friend is going to Sweden. I'm so jealous... :D
  17. Oh Ophelie, I'm sorry for you that's getting so expensive for you. :( Anyway, salut et beaucoup de plaisir avec ta glace. :)
  18. I never heard "Ruhrgebietkanacken" here... it's too long! :D You really teach English? :o I always wanted to know what you're doing here in Germany. :nice: Yes Ophelie, I think the song was called "Un monde parfait". ^^
  19. You really want to know it, heh? ^^ Ok, but it's better for you not telling it to your students, otherwise you would get a problem. :P Sometimes we call people from NRW "Ruhrpottkanacken", but I never said it to anyone coming from NRW. Ophelie... Un oiseau, un enfant, une chèvre Le bleu du ciel un beau sourire du bout des lèvres Un crocrodile, une vache, du soleil Et ce soir je m'endors au pays des merveilles :D :D :D
  20. Oh Mark, you write some German words.. I'm impressed! :) Ophelie, that word "oiseau" reminds me of a scary French song, which was very successful here. It's similar to Schnappi... just awful... a kind of comic with crocodiles and birds.
  21. Yes Ophelie, we had fun there! :P We sit there at least one hour, because it was raining all the time. Good luck to you for tomorrow! :) Oh Kara, hope you'll have finished your artwork on Tuesday. Yeah, on summer holiday we also have so many tourists here, especially from Northrhine Westfalia. It's so funny... I think they never heard anything about the tide. ;)
  22. Well, tomorrow it will snow in Bavaria again, so I think it could get any worse! :P Salut Ophelie! :nice:
  23. ;) It was raining here all the time! But I just watched the weather forecast. They said it's getting better next (long) weekend.
  24. Lol Mark, but that's true! :nice: Bye Juli! ^^
