Glad to hear about your enthusiasm for VLVODAAHF! I totally agree with you though; it is nice to explore the unique and vibrant songs of other bands every now and then. Even though I am a huge Coldplay fan, like most of us here ;), I still enjoy many other genres of music, including R&B, Classical, and Jazz. It makes you appreciate Coldplay more when you can listen to the music that has inspired their own, original sound and style...

Was it just me, or does anyone else remember Chris calling the broken-arm kid's brother an ass hole right to the kid's face? The quote went something like this "He hit you with a stick?! What an ass hole!" I was laughing hysterically considering that Chris was right in front of Bella, Jasmyne, and I when he said it. Does anyone have a clip of that? EDIT: I completely freaked out thinking that Chris ended up calling the kid's brother an "ass hole" during the live taping!

Coldplay's fourth album, "Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends," sold 249,000 copies in the week ended June 29, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Rapper Lil Wayne's former chart-topper "Tha Carter III" held at No. 2 with 209,000 copies, and the Jonas Brothers-led soundtrack to the Disney Channel's hit TV movie "Camp Rock" was steady at No. 3 with 169,000. Motley Crue's autobiographical "Saints of Los Angeles," the group's ninth release in 27 years, sold 99,000 copies. The core lineup's previous release, "Generation Swine," also opened at No. 4 exactly 11 years ago with 80,500 copies. The band peaked commercially with 1989's "Dr. Feelgood," which hit No. 1 and has shipped more than six million copies to date, according to the Recording Industry Assn. of America. I assumed that what they meant (from a previous interview) was that people who attended the concerts would "get" the song with their ticket by hearing it played live at the concert. Are they also implying that they will be giving a physical download of the track as well? Here's the quote: "We have this song called The Goldrush, which (drummer) Will (Champion) sings. We want to play it as part of the show, so we'd like to give it away with the ticket. That way the only people that know that song will be the people coming to the concerts." I think that we will all be getting the song one way or another :P
