well, usually it's about -10- -20 in winter, in Lapland it might be colder than here in south

couple year ago it was -40 in New Year and THAT was cold! but that was really cold, even in finland... and Mariana, I'm not an ice cream :D

17 degrees is rather warm, it's -12 here and that isn't even cold...
