Yep-- basically we decided that it's nothing personal, but we are just not compatible as roommates, and she would probably be a lot happier living with people she has more in common with. She agreed, and I think she was actually kind of a relieved that I suggested it. So now it's just a matter of pushing the reslife people to help us out.

Oh no, that sounds awful! I don't think my situation is that bad, but it's still not really something I can live with. At the moment, the people who arrange residence life haven't done much to find her a place. They tend not to want to have to move people mid-year, but they really have to in this case. :dozey: In fact, I am sending a rather strongly-worded email to the director of my building right now. :smug:

Oh Christa and Pris, you're still here! :dance: School is okay... I had a really long day today. I worked all morning and then I had class until 6:15 so I am really tired now! And you may have heard I have a bit of a roommate situation I am trying to work out.

Ahh I just missed everyone too! :bigcry: I had such a long day of work and classes... :(

Good to know I wasn't the only one who got emotional! Just watching it on TV, I couldn't stop myself from crying! My friend who I was watching it with didn't really understand and just thought I was crazy. But it was just such an amazing moment. Plus pretty much everything makes me cry! :P

Well, I was out skiing tonight, where it was approximately 10 degrees, so I think I have an idea! :P But seriously, you were very lucky! Aww I'm getting all sappy here... but that's such an amazing historical experience, and a story you can pass down to your children and grandchildren. :)
