Hello ladies! :kiss: Yeah, it looks like the problem is going to be resolved soon-- I set up an appointment with the person in charge of the building I live in to see what we can do about getting her moved. Thank god. And Carla (and Chavi too :P ) I got your New Year's postcard today! That was sooo sweet of you two! It could have arrived a while ago, but you sent it to my address at school so I wasn't able to check that until today! I was so excited when I got it, I like teared up a little bit... Ugh sorry I didn't return earlier with an update but basically what happened was: My roommate came back like super super drunk last night, and was being extremely obnoxious and ridiculous. Like, I don't mind people being drunk, you know? It's not like I never have been.... :rolleyes: :P But like such extreme binge drinking and then ridiculous behavior in front of someone you hardly know is a totally different thing. I won't be able to completely capture the insanity of all of it-- you definitely had to be there-- but she came back last night, brought some random guy (who, luckily, did not come in the room because I was still awake), proceeded to tell me she made out with no less than 7 guys that night, knocked a whole bunch of stuff over, made a mess, and started asking me some verrrry personal and uncomfortable questions about things I don't even talk about with my closest friends. Oh and then she got completely undressed. Talk about crossing the line... I've known her for two days. :dozey: So we talked... I felt bad and I really didn't want her to take it personally, because when she's sober she really is a sweet girl. But we came to the conclusion that we just might not be compatible as roommates and if she could find a place to live with other freshmen or transfer students she might have more fun (apparently I'm an old, boring lady who doesn't like to go to frat parties :P ) and I wouldn't have to fear for my sanity. Sooo hopefully they can find a place for her in one of the other dorms. And hopefully one day she'll learn that it's probably not a good idea to go to frat parties with lots of horny boys who keep pouring alcohol into her so they can take advantage of her. :\

Heey, I have to go to a quick meeting with the people on my floor in building, but I should be back in about 20 minutes! And then I will tell the whole sob story! :rolleyes:

Heeeeyyy, I'm back! I was all set on talking to my roommate now... but she's on the phone! I think she really is trying to avoid it. :dozey: So now I'm resolving to do it when she gets off the phone. I'm just so nervous! :uhoh:

Yes we can have a ski/snowboard trip! :P Hahah, well last night I took my friend who I am teaching to ski.... and she skied off the side of the trail into the woods! I don't know if that's a reflection of her bad skiing or my bad teaching! :lol: But if I can teach her to ski, I'm sure you would be fine! :P edit: And I think I'm going to head out and get some food... if I don't see you guys later, have a good night! :kiss: :hug: I'll let you know how the roommate confrontation goes... :uhoh:

Awww... we have like a foot of snow here! It snows almost every day, and I got to go skiing last night! :D But I hope the roads are okay when you have to go to work... I know when I was driving back from the mountain last night the roads were reeaallly slippery... and at one point a fox ran out in front of my car and I had to brake really hard so I wouldn't hit him! I'm just glad I didn't skid out!

Hello hello! I'm okay, not thrilled to be back at school-- my roommate (and best friend) isn't here this semester because she is studying abroad, and so they assigned a transfer student to my room.... it's not working out well. :bigcry: I think I'm going to request a roommate change because this girl is so ridiculous.
